The Casetta is a stone-wall farmhouse with rustic apartments and a swimming pool. At about 50 km from both Florence and Siena, it enjoys panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. Each apartment comes with a fireplace and wood-beamed ceilings. The furnished private patio overlooks the relaxing garden. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi in public areas. It is possible to taste refined wines and local products in the property’s cellar. Providing free parking, the Casetta guesthouse is a 20-minute drive from San Gimignano. The medieval castle of Montaione is 2 km away.

We found a lovely welcome gift basket waiting for us in the house, which immediately set a great mood. The hosts were very attentive and quickly addressed all our issues. When it got cold, they promptly arranged a heater, which made our stay much more comfortable. We booked a wine tasting — it was really enjoyable! Although the wine selection wasn’t very extensive, there was plenty of food, and it was very tasty — authentic Italian appetizers. The accommodation was spacious and convenient, with three bathrooms including toilets, which made our stay very comfortable. There was also a swimming pool, which was still a bit cool in May but pleasant nonetheless. Just about 300 meters away, we found a great café with excellent coffee. We chose this place because of its convenient location — from here, it was easy to visit beautiful towns like Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena.
