The Castellare Di Tonda is a farm estate in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. It offers apartments with panoramic views, swimming pools, free WiFi and free parking. The Castellare’s apartments are located in 12 separate farm buildings across the estate, and each group of buildings has its own pool. Many apartments offer views of the hills, the estate’s vineyards or its lake. The Castellare Di Tonda Tuscany Country Resort & Spa includes a wellness centre and horse-riding stables. Il gusto del Castellare restaurant is open every day for dinner and breakfast, and also for lunch on Sundays and holidays. There is also a bar on the estate. The Castellare Country Resort is 58 km from Florence and 65 km from the Tuscan coast.

Beautiful location in the heart of the Tuscan countryside – perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the surroundings are simply stunning. The rooms can be a bit noisy, and the SPA is not open every day, which was a little disappointing. Overall, a lovely stay in a great setting – we would happily return!

“A Dream Vacation – Perfect for Families”
We stayed at this wonderful hotel in April 2025 as a group of four families with children, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged. Our family rooms were spacious, bright, and exceptionally clean. The kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare simple meals when we wanted to stay in. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor area—lush green lawns, comfortable seating, and large tables where we could share lunch or dinner outside, soaking in the fresh air and the stunning views of vineyards and forests. The kids had plenty of space to run around and play freely on the grass, while we could sit back and relax nearby. The service was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always attentive. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. Breakfast each morning was a delight: varied, fresh, and generous, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The pools were another highlight—crystal clear, well maintained, and best of all, each group of rooms had its own private pool and children's pool, which gave us a wonderful sense of calm and privacy throughout the stay. This was more than just a vacation—it was a dream getaway for both parents and kids alike. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would return in a heartbeat!

“An unforgettable dream vacation”
We stayed at the hotel in April 2025 as four families with children, and we had a fantastic experience. The family rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The garden area was lovely, with chairs, sun loungers, and tables that allowed us to enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors, in the fresh air and with stunning views of vineyards and forests. The kids played freely and safely on the grass while we relaxed nearby. Reception service was excellent—every request was answered quickly and with genuine care. Breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Each group of rooms had its own pool and kids' pool, giving us full privacy throughout our stay. It was a perfect vacation, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for peace, comfort, and beautiful surroundings. ---

The location is so much fun and so huge! I regreted not to check in earlier. The horse stable is lovely! My daughter spent a morning there seeing those horses. The breakfast is good. The apartment is big enough for a family. Great value of money.
