The chateau was spectacular . The interior beautifully restored and the grounds well maintained. The chateau is in the middle of stunning countryside… close to some lovely villages and of course Le Mans. Plenty of good places to eat…all recommended by the chatelaine

“Perfect Chateau Stay”

This was our second visit to the chateau and just as previously everything was excellent. The chateau and grounds are picturesque and a privilege to enjoy. Anita is a friendly and helpful host. We would recommend anyone to stay here if they had the opportunity. Breakfast was also plentiful and very good.

This is an exceptional accommodation with an expertly refurbished chateau by the very friendly owners. All the rooms have been tastefully furnished, decorated and modernised and a lot of its history and charms have nevertheless been preserved. The grounds and lake are beautiful and it is possible to walk around these. The continental breakfast was exceptionally presented and very good to eat. Although some people may find it is a little isolated from larger towns this should add to its appeal to many. Overall good value and thank you to both owners for their welcome.

Anita was a sympathetic & helpful host in a splendid, tastefully appointed, comfortable chateau set in extensive beautiful grounds. Its location was central to exploring the region- Alpes-Mancelle, Sille le Guillaume & Sainte -Suzanne. Breakfasts were very enjoyable

Anita and her husband were delightful hosts and made the stay even better. The area is very beautiful and very quiet with superb walks. There is a very nice villiage 15 mins leisurely drive (we saw no more than two cars on each trip) called Saint Leonard des Bois. Nice restaurants and very friendly. The chateau is amazing and very well equipped. The outside seating area is wonderful to sit and take in the location. Our room was large, very clean and the shower was spot on. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. Will defo visit again.

Extremely well restored chateau, probably the best one we have stayed in. The host/owner is a lovely lady who was friendly and served us a great breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and we went for many walks. The chateau and it’s surroundings are tranquil and we would definitely stay here again.
