This was our third visit here. We like the off-road parking, the open-plan sitting room leading to the well-equipped kitchen-diner, and the spacious bedroom and quite spacious bathroom. The back garden, with table and chairs on decking, looking onto lawn and an old apple tree, is great. The town, with two bars is a 15 minute walk away. No doubt we'll be back again.

The greatest place we have ever stayed in and we travel quite a lot. It is basically an entire home with its own garden. Well-equipped is understatement. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. We wanted to visit the nearby city of Mons but when we saw how incredible the apartment is, we decided to stay the evening in the garden. The host was also very helpful. He gave us recommendation as to how to travel in the neighbourhood. What is more, the location is really good. It's really close to Brussels. In the neighbourhood there is canal across which you can ride your bike.

Amazing facilities. Absolutely everything you could need. Home from home. Great location for to and from the shuttle.

Free parking and directly off the motorway, although it is some distance from Mons itself. We needed to be at SHAPE HQ early the next morning and it was less than 10 minutes drive. Unfortunately the weather was heavy rain during the evening, otherwise we could have enjoyed the beautiful and extensive garden. The host, knowing we were English speaking, pre-arranged for the TV to show the UK TV channels - much appreciated. Spacious, tastefully decorated, large bathroom and good kitchen/diner. Very quiet location despite being close to a large industrial site (cement processing works).

“Amazing house”

Huge and very beautiful house with high standard furniture and utilities. The back yard is amazing. We could not expect better than this. I wish we could stay longer but for sure will come back. Excellent value for money. I highly recomand this house.

“A big 'little house' with lovely garden and easy parking”

There's absolutely nothing to fault here. The 'little house' is bigger and better equipped than I'd have expected and really has everything you could want for a stay. The location is a curious one but suited me ideally being less than 15 minutes drive from the three things I wanted to see here - Silex's, Strepy-Theux boat lift and the city of Mons. Parking was easy (but read the instructions and don't use the sloping driveway). The whole process is done online so you get the key from a key safe without meeting the owner (hence I find it hard to 'rate' the host) but instructions are clear and communication was very regular with several WhatsApp messages to check that everything was OK. All in all an excellent choice for anyone driving around this area.

The area was lovely and the host was exceptional, very friendly, helpful and generous.

We liked everything! Probably, one of the best places we stayed in. Very spacious, comfortable and nice. Everything is thought of. There are many extra small things in the apartment, which were not expected and required, but which made our stay much more pleasant.

It was very clean and had a really welcoming feel. It had everything little thing you could need and was all laid out so beautifully. It was very easy to find and in a lovely location.

The house is amazing. I have never seen a Booking property so well and thoughtfully equipped. The location is perfect if you have rented a vehicle. We personally loved the Mons area, but also managed to visit Brugge, Brussels and Charleroi. A 10 out of 10 and an examplary hospitality experience. The host was extremely kind.
