Overview
The unique and modern Consolación is located in the mountainous Matarraña region. It has a swimming pool, mountain views, free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking. Split between a converted building and some modern cubes, Consolación offers rooms with large windows and designer details. Many of the rooms have sunken slate baths, while others have Alvar Aalto furniture. Most have private terraces. Consolación has gardens with an outdoor pool which has views of the pine forest. The hotel has various lounges and a library. The restaurant, housed in a former barn, serves a mixture of modern and regional dishes using fresh local produce. Guests can also use the kitchen. Consolación can be found in the Teruel province of south-east Aragon, just outside the village of Monroyo and beside a 16th-century hermitage. The hotel offers bicycle rental.

“One stay you will not forget.”
The property is in a beautiful spot, just in the middle of the mountains. Hotel fully renovated inside but maintaining all the original style. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and they try to make your stay very memorable. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. They are cooked in situ with good and local products.

Super tranquil and totally relaxing. Excellent breakfast with high quality products. Dinner was delicious too, although a little expensive. Really loved the cubes and exploring the whole property. It was super romantic.

Beautiful old converted hotel with amazing cubes cleverly hidden in the pine forest with incredible views and a log burner to finish off the ambiance A fusion of old and modern Staff welcoming and helpful Delicious evening meal and our dog loved it too What more can I say but looking to book again soon 😘😘

A lot of thought went into the design. Could see owners wanted to create something different and have succeeded. Very tranquil like a retreat. Arero (I have done violence to the spelling of her name) was warm and welcoming, and kind, a real asset to have working there.

“Lovely tranquil getaway.”
The property was spectacular! An oasis within the beautiful countryside. The views from the cube rooms are stunning, while the pool and garden are a place of tranquility. The food was delicious and the wine great! The staff were polite and very accommodating. The founders of the property were so welcoming and explained to us their ideas and history about the property. Would definitely recommend this place.
