We had a beautiful room with an ocean view and a surprise was an indoor spa off the bedroom hidden by a sliding mirror door! The position is about a 15 min walk to the old town but across the road from a small beach! The breakfast on the rooftop was special basically a continental breakfast but very nice! The lady who does all the cleaning and gets the breakfast was just lovely! We had an outdoor deck looking over the beach! The place was easy to find and whilst parking is a premium you can get a park close if you are staying more than one day for free outside! The rooftop pool is not deep but refreshing and there are plenty of spots to lay around!

Roof top pool and its location opposite a beach and a great cafe. And only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Monopoly. Also James was very helpful.

Such a disappointment. We drove past this hotel twice because at €300 for the night we had expected something better. We were left to struggle with a heavy case up two flights of stairs. The receptionist told us not to leave our one key card in the room because it could take her 3 or 4 hours to come to us to let us back in. She insisted on taking pictures of our credit card front and back 'in case we took items out of the fridge in our room and didnt declare it'. I had to go back to her to tell her there were only 2 bottles of water in the fridge. She completely missed the point and said it wasn't her job to fill the fridge. We went up to the pool (as another guest pointed out it is only 50cm deep ...not a pool!) and asked for drinks (the hotel advertises room service). We were told we could go to a shop over the road. When I asked about the drinks she and her friend were drinking (Aperol) she said she would try and find us a glass of wine. She did. When we returned from the town later that evening we put the tv on but then couldnt turn it off ...nobody at reception! We had to find a channel with no picture or the alternative turn all electrics off in which case we had no aircon, it was too noisy with traffic to leave the window open. We were only staying one night and checked out before breakfast, again nobody at reception. We received a text later in the day asking where we had left the key card, I told her we had not left it and offered to post it back which I did the next day and sent pictures of the card in the envelope with the hotel address to prove we were sending it. The hotel deducted €100 from our credit card and now claim not to have received the card. Do I believe that the Italian post office is incompetent or the hotel !! I see now from other reviews that another guest complained of being charged for items out of the fridge they did not have. My advice ...seek out another hotel.

“Nice B&B to explore Puglia from”

The room is very clean and high standard, bed is very comfy, good shower. Staff were flexible about breakfast timings. James was very helpful sorting out some issues and giving recommendations. The pool area is pretty good and generally quiet. The hot tub is very good. There is a balcony for drying but not a nice view. The location is fine, near enough to walk into centre. Most beachside restaurants close by are average but I found a couple of good quality ones.
