Overview
At the foot of Thamserku Peak, just before the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, sits Yeti Mountain Home Monjo. This welcoming lodge is a comfortable stop-over point for trekkers going to Everest Base Camp. Rooms feature wooden ceiling beams and wooden flooring, as well as large windows which overlook the mountains. Electric mats are available to warm the beds. The en suite bathroom has hot running water and a shower. Mountain Lodges of Nepal - Monjo is a 6-hour trek from Lukla via Phakding. From Lukla, it is a 45-minute flight to Kathmandu Airport. The on-site restaurant serves Nepali cuisine, using home-grown organic vegetables from the property's own greenhouse. There is also a well-stocked bar where guests can relax and have a drink. Ticketing services and mountain guides can be arranged at the tour desk. Laundry services and luggage storage are also available.
