The hotel is quite new, very clean and well kept. It's at the top of the hill on the edge town with a great view of the surrounding mountains and the valley stretching towards Topaga. The quiet rural atmosphere and many walking opportunities suited us perfectly. A couple of nearby tiendas supply most necessities and "downtown" is only a 20 minute walk although some may find the hill daunting and prefer to take a tuk-tuk. We were the only users of the well equipped shared kitchen, which lacked only a coffee maker or coffee sock.

I stayed for five nights and everything went well. The people who work here are extremely helpful. They even came to pick me up when my bus arrived because it was raining so hard and there were no taxis available. I. would stay here again.

Excellent kitchen facilities, warm shower (bit fiddly to get warm, but it is warm), comfy room, very comfy bed. Spacious shared area. Good communication and a warm welcome. Hotel is a safe 10 minute walk from town. Quiet location. Watch the hills though.

Super nice host family! Well equipped kitchen, big living room, free drinking water and tea, hot shower, very confortable bed. Morning sun in the room. And the best service: bicycle rental! Very good mountain bike!

EVERYTHING! Very clean, calm, nice views from the windows, friendly staff.. Excellent fi wi, if you need to work, well equipped kitchen (there is a shop in a few meters from the place, the pueblo itself doesn't offer many options of restaurants). A bit far from central plaza, but it was what we were looking.

“Best value in Monguí by far.”
One of the best value hotels in Colombia. I have been to perhaps 80 or more different hotels here, and this ranks at the top. Amazing beds. Helpful and friendly owners. A well stocked kitchen, free coffee and water. Extremely quiet. Some of the best sleeps I have had, I also rented a very high quality mountain bike from them. Very, very clean. Soap and towels provided. I have been to Monguí a few times, but will stay here from now on. Lovely people.
