It had everything I needed for a short trip, including a good breakfast. The wine bar downstairs was a huge bonus, and everything was great value!

The host was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and during the stay. The rooms were very nicely equipped.

Very nice green garden, where they serve their own wine and tapas. Spacious room with very nice bathroom and big double bed. Very clean and with attention to details. Breakfast was also quite nice. A bit far from the centre to walk, but due to this pretty quiet location.

Breakfast was excellent. Freshly prepared eggs and coffee and in a private room.

The most charming and helpful host I have ever met. The hotel is also charming and unique - located in the historical place. Rooms are comfortable and have their own style. You should try the wines produced by the family - they are so good and you can buy them. The breakfast was also tasty and had not-sweet and sweet options. The parking is safe and comfortable, in the yard of the villa. Really recommend this place! I would be glad to come again (at least to buy the wine :)

The accommodation was impeccably clean, comfortable, everything you need is available. The staff is friendly and professional, you feel welcome. The facility is located in a quiet part of the city not far from the center. There is also a wonderful winery on the ground floor. Definitely recommend

House is situated in peaceful area,yet it is very close to Monfalcone center, shopping,beaches. The house with 3 rooms is beautiful,Italian countryside style. It's next to their Conte wineyard. The offer wine and plate with cheese and prosciutto- agritourism closes at 20.30,so it doesn't distrupt night sleep. Owner is very nice, helpfull,flexible,speaks english and prepares tasty breakfast (in price). Parking is in the courtyard,which is fenced,so there is no need to worry about it. Threre is very beautiful,old cedar tree in the courtyard. Will stay there again for sure!

My second visit and lovely to enjoy again the quietness, comfort, delicious breakfast and Katia's warm welcome. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Contessa. Signora Katia was really nice, professional and helpful with everything. The room was big, clean and pleasant, we also enjoyed breakfast and this lovely estate with winery. Would come back!

“This place is a gem!”

I chose La Contessa for its proximity to the airport which is easily accessible by bus. However i got a lot more than that. Quiteness, big bathroom, friendly staff and and a delicious breakfast. The artisanal prosciutto and ham is the best I have ever tasted! There's also a very reliable bus service to the coast at Duino amd Sistiana so I could easily fit in a swim and lunch before my afternoon flight.
