“Lovely hotel”

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting with kind hosts. Breakfast was delicious and served on the main terrace. The room I had included it’s own terrace overlooking the main terrace with views of the surrounding forest and mountains in the distance.

“Relaxing hotel in the most beautiful location”

Christine and Julian are perfect hosts! We were greeted on arrival and shown around the property. They were always on hand for anything we needed and went above and beyond to help on our last day when our taxi to the airport did not arrive! The property itself is beautiful and the interior design is perfect and very well considered. The spa is simple but perfectly set up. Breakfast is wonderful and can be enjoyed in the beautiful patio area. We felt so relaxed throughout the stay and it was perfect.

We loved the hotel and the room. It is in an amazing old building with beautiful rooms and a terrace. Catherine and Guillame were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Hugely welcoming and very attentive to assisting us with arrangements - from booking local restaurants to organising taxis. Really fantastic hosts. Hotel itself is a beautiful old building in the village square and in beautiful surroundings. Quiet and serene! Lots of wonderful walks and great local restaurants. We wanted to get away from it all for a few days and this trip and venue was perfect - wonderful surrounding countryside to explore. Great for cyclists too.

Really beautiful design, beautiful but small town, and comfortable stay. The host is very friendly, showing us around the house and help us sort out issues. Swimming pool indoor you can have it for your own. The square in front of the hotel have two bars and restaurants. Evening you can see stars very clearly.

Fantastic stay, very well looked after by Laura and family, who were always on hand when needed. Real home comforts and we were treated so well. The spa was refreshing on a hot day and the patio a lovely place to relax in the late afternoon with a glass of wine. Would really recommend having an evening meal - delicious, with local wines and produce. Good walking in the area.

Laura is a wonderful Host. Very nice and very helpful. You can feel the love through all the beautiful details in the hotel. The SPA is bookable private, the breakfast is delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much!

“Stunning and peaceful retreat”

Absolutely stunning decoration, location and hospitality, everything was so amazing and peaceful. Laura and her family were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like being in a little oasis away from everything. The rooms were beautiful (as well as the whole property), the spa is so relaxing and the location is amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough. Laura also gave us the best restaurant recommendations which made our stay even better.

Our stay was perfect, the house is beautiful and you feel right at home, everything was perfectly clean and the owners were so friendly and helpful. The dinner and the breakfast were amazing, especially the delicious cakes. The location is super nice, right on the main square of Monells, which is a beautiful small mediaeval village, that is way less touristic and more authentic then others in the area. We will absolutely be back!

“The perfect place for a restful and regenerative weekend in the countryside”

Extremely friendly and attentive staff (thank you for all your help Laura!). The hotel is beautiful, every item is intentional and the ambience is very warm and welcoming. The spa is an extremely calming space, beautifully designed and very relaxing. I highly recommend having dinner at the hotel, it is simple seasonal food but executed so well. Breakfast also perfect, we could have (and did!) sat grazing all morning. From the moment we arrived we felt so well looked after. A wonderful place to stay in a very beautiful part of the world. We just rested during our stay but there are also plenty of opportunities for exploring the area and doing activities.

Delicious breakfast in a beautiful garden. Laura and Alvaro are very welcoming people who do their utmost best to give their guests a great stay. We enjoyed the spa and the decoration of the hotel made it a real little palace like the name Palauet promises.
