Wow what can I say about Villa Masetta, the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional - beautiful rooms that were super clean and stocked with luxurious Ortigia products in the bathroom. Stunning pool which was so relaxing and quiet (even though the busy beach is right beside you!). But overall, the staff went above and beyond during our stay. Thank you so much to Giulia and Claudia for a simply wonderful time, and for the fabulous restaurant recommendations, each one was 10/10! You really made the end of our wedding trip so special and memorable. We will be back!

The villa was absolutely immaculate — every detail was perfect. You could really feel the love, care, and pride that goes into maintaining the property. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make our stay special. The pool was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and having it almost entirely to ourselves for most of the trip felt so luxurious. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and something we genuinely looked forward to every day. Our room was spacious, beautifully modern (which initially drew me to the property as usual for Italy), and waking up to stunning sea views every morning felt like a dream. Palermo was only a 15-minute taxi ride away (€30–€40), and we also took the bus into town a couple of times — around 25 minutes and only €1.40 each. The bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the villa, making everything so convenient. There’s also a lovely beach café right next to the property that was always full of locals, which is always a good sign — and the desserts there were incredible!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at Villa Masetta The hotel arranged a private taxi to collect us from the airport, making our journey to Mondello completely seamless. From the moment we arrived at Villa Masetta, we knew we had found a real gem. The hotel was right on the beach with instant access to the turquoise waters—an absolute dream. Our views of the sea and mountain range from our rooms balcony and the roof top terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The location couldn’t be better, with an incredible dessert bar just next door (dangerously good cannoli and gelato!) and everything you might need within easy walking distance. But what truly sets Villa Masetta apart was the people. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and genuinely special throughout our stay. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of luxury, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality. Villa Masetta isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return!

The proximity to the beach & restaurants. The gardens were so beautiful, they contribute to oasis like ambiance. We also loved the pool. So clean and fresh! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Mauro & family should be proud of the exceptional standard and beauty of Villa Masetta.

The property was beautiful, our room was perfect size for a couple and 16 month old baby. Pool area was superb. The family were all lovely and incredibly helpful with every request - Some great dinner recommendations!

Family owned and managed that is friendly and relaxed. You. Can see the attention to details in everything from cleaning, renevation of the Villa, the flowers in the garden and the service. We loved it and thanks from us

Breakfast was excellent.location good as it was right by the beach, unfortunately Mondello suffers from yongsters driving very fast along the road the villa is on with very load music playing from open car windows. One night at 1.30 in the morning a group of youngsters were gathered outside the villa playing loud music. Mondello could be beautiful but the council and police need to bring in noise and behaviour controls

The property is faultless. Wonderful people. A real family feel to the place. Spotlessly clean. High degree of maintenance. Exceptional breakfast. Lunch and drinks available on request. Excellent service. We loved every minute we were there. They even gave us some anti mosquito spray when dusk was setting in!
