Superb place! We had everything we need, the neighbourhood was nice and quiet and the Ocean only few mins away. The property owner was very nice, helpful and always available. She gave us lot's of of info about what to do, what to visit, where to est.

Villa Gabriella was simply perfect – it had absolutely everything we needed and more. The house is very beautiful, full of atmosphere, and equipped with all possible comforts. We even had umbrellas and beach towels provided. It’s a quiet place with a lovely garden, an outdoor shower, and plenty of space, making it ideal for a big group or family. The kitchen is fully equipped, actually, beyond expectations. You won’t be able to think of something missing, because everything is already there. As for Mondello itself – the beach is long, sandy, with clean and clear water. A really beautiful spot in general. However, be aware that almost the entire beach is occupied by private companies with fences, and only about 3% of the territory is public. It’s not just about rented sunbeds, but actual barriers that make it impossible to freely access most of the beach. Sometimes you need to make a long detour just to find an entrance. On top of that, there are no public showers, and for the whole stretch of sand there is only one public toilet, which feels quite strange. Overall, the villa is absolutely amazing, five stars without any doubt. Mondello is good, but be prepared for these small inconveniences with beach access.

Villa Gabriella was a perfect place for our family to stay for a week. The villa was clean and very spacious with room for us all(8) to spread out. The garden particularly pretty alongside a great BBQ area. We were able to breakfast outside undercover every morning. The kitchen was really well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. We loved our stay. There are great restaurants within walking distance and it is easy to get the bus into Palermo. The host Elvira is fantastic.

this is a beautiful, spacious Villa with a lovely garden in a great location, close to the beach, locals shops and restaurants and the bus stop to get to Palermo. it was spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you could think of to have a lovely self-catering holiday. Elvira the host is amazing, so warm and helpful, we will definitely stay again 💚

The villa is absolutely perfect, cannot fault it one bit. Super spacious (more than the pictures do it credit for) with such Italian rustic charm where you can feel home away from home. Elvira is a lovely host, very approachable if you need any help and who makes you feel very welcome. The Villa itself is situated in the beautiful Mondello with just a 5 minute walk away from the beach that has clear blue seas and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. There are also very nice restaurants just a stones throw away, our favourite being La Vecchia Masseria. It is also very simple to get the bus (the 806) into the centre of Palermo and will take around 30/40 minutes if you wish to explore the city.

“Relaxing family holiday in Italian villa”

Such a lovely house, in a good location and with all the things you needed for a family holiday. We had five adults and a toddler and it had lots of space, with different living areas so we didn’t feel cramped. The garden was great for our 2 year old

“Spacious rustic home”

Spacious rustic style house perfect for large groups. The garden area is the selling point and where we spent most of our time. The master area of the house had its own terrace leading from the bathroom which provided lots of light and morning sunshine. We were provided with plenty of anti-mosquito plugs and candles so didn’t need to purchase any during our stay. Walking distance to Mondello beach and the local bakery. Large supermarkets only 5mins drive away.

Really nice quiet area with 10 mins walking to Mondello beach. easy parking on the street if you come by car. Elvira is an amzing host - highly recommended!

Our hosts Elvira and Luca were there when we arrived and showed us around the villa. The next day they brought us to the supermarket for grocery shopping and gave us information about local sights, restaurants etc. lovely people.

wonderful house, very clean with very beautiful garden. the kitchen was fully equiped for cooking at home. the house has air conditioning in every room. The villa is at 10 min walk from the beach. we really enjoyed our stay here.

Both the villa and the host's are amazing, there is an astonishing amount of well kept space in the villa, it has a beautiful garden and seating areas. All this and only a short walk from the beautiful beach, the host's however steal the show, Elvira and Giorgio are two of the most welcoming people I have met, always there to help and for myself who ended up stopping in the villa on my own, it was very reassuring to receive the odd text asking if everything was OK and if there was anything I needed, always on hand to suggest places to go or restaurants for good food in the local area. Thank you for a great holiday.

the property is a very spacious and well appointed. it is in a traditional style with lots if character and there are terraces that can be used at different times of the day. The Villa has a secluded and very quiet garden and is great for relaxing in A covered terrace adjoins this and is a haven when it is too hot. this is a very comfortable house. Elvira the owner of the Villa was extremely helpful and she really went out if her way to make us welcome - she showed us around the local facilities and even took us to the supermarket. Elvira is a wonderful host
