“Amazing stay with friendly hosts”

The owners are warm, kind, and very welcoming. They greeted us with a welcome drink, shared great local recommendations, and our hostess prepared an incredible breakfast. Their dogs are also very friendly and adorable. The property is spotless, comfortable, and offers a quiet stay while still being conveniently close to Paris and Margny-lès-Compiègne. We would definitely stay here again.

We were so impressed with everything, the lady of the house was away but her husband was amazing, he served us a great breakfast and was extremely pleasant. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

We really liked the late check-in option, and the hosts waited for us until 10 p.m. and welcomed us warmly with a glass of wine. The place is very quiet, and we had a good rest and slept well. The room has everything you need. Communication in English was easy, which made our entire stay much simpler. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a cosy and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, we had only the best impressions

Charming home with very welcoming hosts in a peaceful setting. Lovely garden to explore. A typically French breakfast, fresh and substantial served in the conservatory.

I cannot overstate how wonderful this stay was! We had the most welcoming, warm, relaxed and immaculate stay in a beautiful family home. Florella and Auguste are so naturally hospitable, friendly and kind, and the peaceful garden and conservatory are fantastic spaces. Our room was very well appointed, quiet, light, and our bed was extremely comfortable! We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was amazing, the house dogs and cat are so sweet, and we absolutely loved our stay.

Fabulous welcome from Florella and August - even though we arrived late they treated us to a glass of wine and snacks in their lovely garden and it was great to chat to them. Bedroom is fantastic, plenty of space with air conditioning and a great shower. Breakfast was very good and Florella even gave us some lovely homemade cakes to take with us in our travels.

This was our second visit to Les Glycines de Monchy. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful and we like staying in the room with a kitchenette (up a staircase which is characteristic is an older French house). Breakfasts are excellent and home made delights are included. The WiFi is good, parking is easy, the area is quiet, and the house is charming and comfortable and, importantly, has air conditioning. Their garden is a delight. This time we took the opportunity to walk around the town of Monchy-Humieres which is only small, but quite picturesque and has an interesting history although only vestiges of its past still remain. The town is easily accessible from exit 11 on the A1. and so is an easy trip to CDG Airport.
