“Short because we were not feeling well”
Shortly after arrival around 18.00 my husband experienced dizziness and desorientation. It got worse after closing the windows. I also felt dizzy, like we were on a boat. We suspected carbon monoxide poisoning and left the apartment around 22:00 to check in at a hotel. All our symptoms disappeared. We have reported this safety incident separately to Booking.com. The owner has been informed and indicated she would contact the fire inspection service. Beyond the safety concern, the apartment had poor sound insulation. Access to the appartment is via an outside steep wooden staircase, that can be slippery when wet. There was no bin in the kitchen and the washing machine listed in the amenities was not present.

“Nice apartment”
There are no keys but a code to open the door. Despite the instructions I was not able to lock the door, not from the inside, nor from the outside. I would recommend the owner to really look into why it did not work. One night someone tried to open the door with the code. I cried out loud Hello! The person left without coming in. The next day the owner told me it was one of her sons who didn't know it was rented, and apologized. Nevertheless, it was not pleasant.

Fabulous seaside location, quiet & everything we needed was provided. Host went out of her way for us. Apt. is beautifully decorated, very comfortable.
