Overview
The Grand Hôtel is an old and elegant building, located in the heart of a Mediterranean tropical park, in front of the great Pic du Canigou, 45 kms from Perpignan. You will stay in one of the 34 comfortable rooms and suites. For sure, you will spend a refined and peaceful moment. The bathrooms are equipped with a large Italian shower or a beautiful bath. Some of the rooms and suites have a balcony. Breakfast can be served in your room at an additional charge. You could access directly to the Baths thanks to an elevator. Moreover, lots of other facilities are at your disposal: bar, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, car parks and a beauty salon.

We stayed one night in here and loved this charming old-world hotel in the mountains. The pool area is spectacular, and the robes for the kids were a lovely touch. We had a charming and comfortable room (a suite) and were so glad we dined in the restaurant for our dinner. The food was great and the kids enjoyed the chef's recommendation.

“A wonderful experience!”
It felt like stepping back in time but in a good way. Le Grand Hôtel is an intriguing and interesting place to stay in a beautiful mountain location. Everything was spotless and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pool had lovely views too and I thoroughly enjoyed swimming in it. We stayed for three nights and had a spacious suite which was exceptionally good value. We enjoyed the food and one evening there was a White Party which we joined in. 30 Euros for a delicious three courses meal, red, white and rose wine included in bottles not carafes and music. We also booked a couple of treatments in the thermal spa. One of these being a white clay flotation pool - an amazing experience to be weightless! There are gardens and a lake to wander around and a small gorge and imagine what it was like in its heyday in the 1930’s/40’s. We loved it all!

“Special weekend in an autumn grand spa”
This was our second visit this year and it was even better! We went for a slightly upgraded room, and it didn't disappoint. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. It is great being able to swim outside in a heated pool even at 21:00 in November! The staff were excellent, the food tasty and well presented, and the thermal and spa treatments the cherry on the cake!

“A relaxing getaway”
We loved the ambiance of the hotel, it was very relaxed. The staff were attentive and proactive. The food was excellent. The room was comfortable. The swimming pool was accessible even late at night. We had some thermal treatments and a massage, and a lovely walk in the hotel grounds...all of which made for a relaxing getaway weekend.

Everything. The hotel is gorgeous, located in the beautiful mountain surrounding, very old classic romantic setting like in the movies. The restaurant food is good. The hotel itself is a sight to see. Rooms are very spacious and clean and comfortable.

“Lovely hotel, beautiful setting”
An astonishing building in a beautiful setting, it reminded me (a bit) of the Grand Budapest Hotel somewhere in Xero's late-middle age. A piano / singer duo was performing in the lounge upon my arrival, the room was a good size and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommended.
