A wonderful place to stay. The location is amazing with stunning views. The estancia is full of history and character. Jan is a superb host and the rest of the staff are super helpful and look after you with whatever you need. We also loved the horse riding. This is a great place to stay and if I was lucky enough to be in the area again. I would definitely stay again. The food is also tasty and plentiful. Great breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the fields, river and mountains. Such an excellent way to start the day.

Our stay at Banda Grande was just spectacular. The landscapes are just amazing, the remoteness, the quietness, the horses very gentle and Fatiga the dog just the sweetest. The attention of Jan and his staff was just perfect and the food was fantastic. I think we ate the best piece of meat during our trip in Argentina at BandaGrande, well, top three for sure! :) of course accompanied by an excellent local Malbec. A unique place! Highly recommended!

The food and drink with the view are excellent. The hiking tour to the caves was a beautiful excursion with the great help of expert guides. The horseback tour I did was to Molinos which was a great ride. We combined this with a nice lunch in the hacienda before we returned to the estancia.

Everything from arrival to departure, the welcome, the owner,The staff, the food, the atmosphere, entering the property is entering into a new family, and Jan’s heart is as big as his property. His staff is attentive, lovely and full of attention! It was one of our highlight during our month in South America

We stayed unfortunately just one night at Estancia La Banda Grande. But what a TOP class hotel! We were very friendly welcomed by Jan, the owner. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The estancia is like a dream, beautifully set in a stunning landscape. Breakfast and dinner are delicious. In one word: a great experience! Thank you.
