“Magical mountain home stay”

This was the most incredible hidden gem! A gorgeous wooden cabin in the Serbian mountains, surrounded by the most stunning scenery and close to the Tara National Park. The owners Radoje and Persa are the kindest people and made us feel so welcome. Due to the driveway only being accessible in winter by a 4WD with snow chains, Radoje met us at the car park next door and drove us and our luggage to the cabin with exceptional skill. When he backed up to get a running start to the hill, you knew fun was about to begin! They cooked delicious meals for us daily; beautiful home cooked food, meat/fish grilled over the open fire, quality ingredients, a true taste of local culture. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, cosy and warm, even during the cold winter weather. So many thoughtful touches, like wooden sleds for the kids to use, a mini bar stocked with local beer and homemade rakija. This stay has ended up a surprise favourite of our entire trip! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to feel less like paying guests and more like you’re sharing a moment with a local family. We feel so lucky to have been able to experience this special place! That place was truly unforgettable! The views were spectacular, the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the beds were super comfortable. The surrounding nature was amazing, and nights were so peaceful – we only heard birds, including an eagle-owl! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying dinner prepared by the hosts – huge portions and super tasty. Vegetarian options were no problem for them and the mushrooms we had for dinner were foraged from the forest around.

A great place to relax. Radoje is a very helpful host. We spent the night in a very cozy room. In the morning, we had a delicious regional breakfast prepared by the host. You can also taste regional wines and rakija. Beautiful mountains surround the property, perfect for hiking in the summer.

The accommodation was exceptional and the contact with the host personal. There was a traditional breakfast and dinner was also possible. The apartment offers itself as a good starting point for the Tara National Park.

Fantastic property on the top of a mountain with views over the surrounding peaks all the way to Bosnia. Magical sunsets and wildlife visitors. Nothing was too hard for our host Radoje who prepared tasty breakfast made from locally sourced delicacies. Peaceful and quiet surroundings with attentive host.

We truly enjoyed our stay — it was peaceful, cozy, and very comfortable. Radoje and Persa are wonderful hosts, always available and ready to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. The location is ideal, close to both Mokra Gora and Tara (Mitrovac). We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

“Loved every minute”

The place was amazing! We loved everything there. The view was stunning, we watched the sunset on the terrace with all the family and did a little hike around the place. The owner and his family are very warm and nice people. The breakfast also was superb tasty and homemade!Sooo delicious! Definitely recomend this place

“Wonderful place”

Amazing place in the Serbian mountains. The house is beautiful and placed on top of a mountain with the most beautiful views. SUCH a cozy place and the owner cooked us some amazing food in a small woodfired cabin next to the big house. Would recommend anytime.

“Amazing place to recharge!”

Kindest host who was responsible, responsive and assisted us with any questions we had. Cutest venue, absolutely cozy, every corner looked like it was crafted with love and care. Quiet and serene place. Homemade food cooked on fire by the host. Warm apartment, comfortable bed (I think mattress had a gel layer and there were extra pillows per person). Amazing (and I mean it!) views and surrounding nature. We'd love to be back, and it seems like it could be a great place for both family and solitary recreation all year long.

The atmosphere was perfect. The view is gorgeous, the entire Tara is shown beneath, along with glorious fog, which is characteristic of the area. The room is spacious, wooden, warm and clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, the owners are very friendly, food was delicious, nothing was missing and we hope to come again!
