“Sporty, amazing experience. Really.”

Very, very friendly people. As mentioned, you have to go by foot. (Our plane was delayed, so we started the trip late). Please note, you have to walk up, for at least 3 hours. At the end we crossed the owner with his car and he proposed to take us with him. Thank you so much! The evening fell quick. Dinner and breakfast are amazing. Beds and shower are simple, but you know that. We thought it was great. We also met nice other tourists.

My favorite mountain accomodation in Montenegro. You are in the heart of the National Park and can hear the sounds of nature while sleeping. The Damjanovic family is very kind and welcoming and the food is the best we ate in Montenegro. This was my third time here and it won't be the last!

“Quiet and cozy”

I liked that it was very quiet and not overrun by tourists, only by hikers. It really was like it should be. Quiet and easy to stay offline to have some big amount of me time. Even if the host is not the best English speaker it was very easy going and she made awesome food every day. The shower was also hot, heated with wood

“Stay the night”

Lovely host, very friendly, helping you to feel comfortable. What you see is what you get. Primitive accommodation, in a beautiful area and a place to shut down (no internet). Great for day hiking.

Super refuge! Very relaxing and beautiful place with some nice hikes around. Stojka (I hope I spell it properly) and her parents are very generous persons. They were very welcoming with us and our 3 year old daughter (with really kind attentions for her). Homemade Breakfasts and meals were great (and huge), including amazing homemade cheese and yogurt. And there is also the possibility to have a picnic to take away for a day hike. Everything is comfortable and clean (shower with hot water).

Amazing place in a beautiful valley run by a very generous hostess. Facilities are basic but very clean and with hot water. Delicious homecooked meals and breakfast. No phone reception in the valley but free wifi.

We had a great time, a very peaceful place from where we did several hikes. We staid 3 nights in these beautiful mountains. Nice beds, warm shower and the breakfast and diner prepared by Stoika are really nice. All with local products : milk, jam, honey etc. She also prepared our pick-nicks. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Such a nice experience, we rented mountain bikes down by the lake and used them for arriving at the Katun, when we arrived we were greeted with cake and a lemonade - the diner was lovely and homemade, breakfast was equally nice and a fun experience to drink fresh cow milk! Huge recommendation if you want a local experience

“Fantastic”

Amazing location. We walked there from Mojkovac using Mapsme (I would only recommend doing this if you are a strong hiker as the path disappears in thick woods at many points! Most people just walk there from the lake which is simple) and arrived wet and cold, the family went out of their way to make us warm, dry and comfortable. They cooked us a huge dinner for €10pp and breakfast (which is included in the price) was delicious - burek, yoghurt and plum jam - all homemade. The huts are small but surprisingly warm (even when it is cold and raining!)

Amazing and very warm and welcoming people living and working there, amazing homemade food, nice swing and outdoor seating, cute and cozy huts to sleep in.

A stunning spot in the biogradska national park with a lovely host. The meals where delicious and a lot. We were here in the middle of September where the temperature drops a bit at night but it was really cosy in the little cabin. It's a shame we spent only one night there. If you wanna sleep there be prepared for a two hour hike from the lake. You can also drive by car, but only if it's suitable for off-road use.

Exciting experience above Biograd lake. In this family business ran by two super sisters you will fill at home. It was a very relaxing experience in a very essential but amazing place. Homemade dinner and breakfast were remarkable. Be aware that you cannot reach the place without an off-road car or motorbike. I strongly suggest you to walk there, the 2 hours walk is easy and fulfilling.

It is beautiful special place surrounded by nature. The owner was very kind and after arrival offered us welcome drink - Rakija :). You can have also dinner there - plenty of food. It has all you need - bed, toilet, shower and bonus - wonderful night sky :) I love this place the most from my stay in MonteNegro.

“Great place in the mountains and silence. Difficult to get to but worth it”

Rest far from civilization and people. Everything is very clean and comfortable. There is electricity, wi-fi, hot water, clean toilet and shower. Hospitable hosts and delicious homemade food. Please note that you can get there either by SUV on a not very good road or on foot. If you walk from the parking lot on the lake, then the walk is about 7 km with an ascent of about 700m. We walked with an 8 year old child for about 3 hours, but it's worth it.
