The flat was situated in a very convenient position close to the centre of Moissac. It spacious well equipped- and very quiet I had difficulty with the TV but that was really only a,minor matter as I was out and about most of the time.

After paying, I received a request to pay an additional security deposit via an email link (explicitly indicating that it could not be made via booking.com). This is contrary to advice Tom booking.com regarding fraudulent activity and appeared to be a scam - despite me offering to meet in person to pay a deposit, I received increasingly hostile and demanding messages stating that I would be locked out - which is what happened. I lost money paid and had to find somewhere else to stay.

“Owners made good after first presenting an unprepared flat.. but maybe a bit too hands off?”
The larger replacement flat offered after arriving at an unprepared flat was lovely. Warm, good comfy bed, good shower, and fairly well equipped in the kitchen. The location was good, though the stairs to the first floor are a bit narrow when carrying cases. It's a little hard to review. No the property we booked did not meet my expectations as it was dirty and unprepared. Fortunately the owners were able to offer an empty 2nd apartment across the hall which was definitely above specification to that we booked. So the bonus questions are for the first, cheaper smaller unprepared flat.
