Overview
Bastide Du Calalou is located a 30-minute drive from the Gorges du Verdon and a 20-minute drive from the Sainte-Croix Lake. It features a heated, outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and elegant guestrooms that overlook the Aups Valley. Rooms at Bastide Du Calalou are equipped with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms also have a DVD and video player. A full breakfast buffet is served daily and Bastide’s restaurant serves regional cuisine, prepared with local produce. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner in the restaurant or on the terrace. Bastide Du Calalou is close to the village of Tourtour and the black truffle market, which is the third largest in France and open from December to April.

The hotel was a very nice surprise, even better than in the photos. The stuff was so nice, I forgot the swimsuit and they saved me with one as a gift. The menu and service on Easter dinner were excellent. The atmosphere and position of the hotel are so peaceful.

“Nice stay, but not so suited for families.”
The spa was lovely, dinner was nice though the service was a bit hit and miss. The hotel itself had alot of character.

“Perfect hotel for families & couples seeking good quality accommodation and a great location”
Lovely traditional French hotel with a peaceful ambience in a great location to visit the Verdon Park region. Lovely comfortable suite for a family of 4 with 2 bathrooms. The swimming pool area was very pleasant and friendly staff.

“Amazing night sleep”
The bed and pillows were super comfy (firm mattress) and allowed me to get an amazing night of sleep since leaving home three days earlier. The hotel we stayed in between was a top luxury hotel in st Jean cap and their beds were not as good (too soft and like memory foam) I loved the idea of express breakfast. The lady at reception was lovely and helpful.
