We had the best experience. The host was very nice and welcoming and her dad was the sweetest man who served us amazing tomatoes from the garden and served a great espresso. Overall a very lovely place to stay.

Everything. This has been our second time in this hotel, it was just perfect. It’s a family owned homestay and they are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is a strong point. It’s close to Duomo. The room is clean, very nice furniture, terrace, little garden with mandarin, orange trees. This is really a little heaven in Sicily.

Giulia and her dad are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room had a stunning view of Modica, the near by hills and the beautiful citrus garden below. We had lovely time enjoying breakfast at the garden. Totally recommend it.

“Stay here, you won't regret it!”

We booked this last minute without much thought, but from the moment we arrived, we knew we’d made the right choice. Giulia greeted us so warmly and was immediately helpful in every way. Our room was perfect, with a charming little balcony overlooking the family garden, such a peaceful view. We felt instantly at home. And then came breakfast the next morning... My god. We were welcomed by Giorgio, Giulia’s father, who brought out trays of fresh, beautiful food, tomatoes picked straight from the garden, homemade desserts, marmalade… it was honestly a bite of paradise. Sitting in that garden each morning was something truly special and became one of the highlights of our trip. I also want to say that I fell ill on our second day and had to stay in bed. When Giorgio heard, he quietly began picking ingredients from his garden to make herbal teas and brought only food he thought would help me feel better. Such a kind, thoughtful man, his care was genuine and deeply appreciated. If you're visiting Modica, I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Staying here will only enrich your experience. Beautiful city, very good location, parents of Gulio were amazing even though they don't speak English, they were incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was perfect - locally made.

Staying in this house was truly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had during our travels. The house itself is charming, the garden is divine, and the owner and his daughter—who lovingly maintain the property and run the business as a family—left us speechless with their kindness. From the delicious breakfasts served each morning in the garden to their warm advice on what to visit, and even the relaxed, friendly conversations, we felt as though we had lived there our whole lives. Modica is an incredibly beautiful town, and its people are wonderful—but above all, it was our stay in this house that touched us most deeply. We wish to sincerely thank Giulia and her esteemed father for their wholehearted hospitality, and we truly hope to return one day and enjoy their home again in the same spirit, a place that radiates warmth and a true sense of home. “Comfortable stay immersed in a stunning garden with lovely views”

Lovely big room with a large balcony and views over the garden and hillside beyond Modica. Absolutely stunning garden full of orange trees, ferns and flowering plants with an amazing aroma - particularly good late April/early May. Julia was very friendly and helpful and prepared a lovely (and very substantial) breakfast with homemade mandarin jams, fruit, omlette and pastries. Parking was fine on roads nearby. The nearby local wine bar was great for dinner and drinks.

Beautiful, large rooms; lush, green fruit filled garden. Location is in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. Guilia and Georgio are wonderful hosts - so helpful and warm. The breakfasts were incredible. Would stay here again and highly recommend their lovely lodgings.

Simple accommodation in the heart of Modica with a wonderful breakfast in the adjoining garden. Clean, spacious room which was great value for money.

Our stay at "Il Giardino dei Mandarini" was great! The host Giulia takes care of everything with dedication and passion, she was very helpful in accommodating our needs and provided some great recommendations to enjoy our time in Modica. Our room was very spacious and had a great view on their beautiful garden and the valley. The entire property was spotless clean and we really appreciated having access to shared kitchen facilities (and even a piano to play!). The only thing to keep in mind is that the B&B is located in the upper part of Modica. This wasn't an issue at all for us as we had a car and Giulia was helping other guests with their transport arrangements too.

Beautiful old building. Such friendly and hospitable people. Great breakfast in a large beautiful old vaulted white stone kitchen opening on to a gorgeous old garden. Hand squeezed mandarin juice included.

I had a great time in Modica. Guilia and her father were lovely hosts. Great B&B in a really good location.

Service and attitude of the owners was great. The breakfast was great.
