“A solid choice in Moalboal with friendly service and a convenient location”

Treeshade Resort & Spa is an easy 10-minute walk from the main restaurant strip in Moalboal, which made the location very convenient. Everything was clean, well maintained, and in good working order. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room to comfortably open and store suitcases. The resort restaurant was decent. We ate there one night and enjoyed it. What really stood out was the staff: super friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. The grounds are beautifully cared for and thoughtfully laid out, giving the resort a relaxed, welcoming feel.

Ourdoor spaces were presented well and the resort was in a quieter part of the town.

“A little bit of paradise”

Moved to this hotel after a family wedding in mactan. Much smaller hotel than the previous one which was a nice change. Our room was clean, spacious and had air con, beds comfortable. The pool was a good size and open until midnight which was nice to cool down later if needed. The grounds were beautiful with lots of plants & flowers. The on site cafe was lovely with tasty food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really loved the location close to the centre of Moalboal too.

Loved the location- tranquility yet only a 5 minute stroll to the sardine run and beachfront restaurants and shops. Staff were excellent: professional, welcoming and very helpful.

The swimming pool was covering all the negative aspects of the resort. Really well maintained pool with 2.8m deep for free diving.

Rooms are big and comfortable, the staff is great. They have a diving school and a place for massage, restaurant is good with delicious breakfast and lunch, the location is perfect (walking distance from main street with all restaurants) and on top of that all, the pool is great.

“Disappointing stay with cleanliness issues”

Room was incredibly basic and doesn't look like the photos online. We had no key to use the safe, housekeeping didn't come to the room at all so had to constantly ask for toilet paper and the biggest issue was being given towels with defacation stains. We went to reception to get new ones 3 times and each time they were stained so we had to use our own beach towels in the end. Hotel feels like it's trying to be a luxury 4* resort but misses the mark on everything apart from the pool, which is nice. To be charging what they are it needs improvement and we wish we'd stayed elsewhere for half the price

The rooms are lovely. Very clean and spacious. The resort is very nice, fully enclosed and modern. The staff are excellent. The outdoor pool is incredible. About 15m long plus an attached free diving pool about 7m deep. Lots of equipment available to borrow.

The location is very convenient if you're looking to do a few adventure activities (e.g. Kawasan Falls, Whale Shark Swimming) as these activities are a lot closer compared to if you were to stay in Cebu City. The staff were also very helpful in organising activities etc.
