“Beautiful accommodation, views and welcoming host!”

Fabulous location with the most wonderful sea view. Our room was clean and the bed very large and comfortable. Doris was such a warm welcoming host; very friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. She made our stay so much nicer. Her Niece, was also great at answering any questions via text message. The pool is lovely and a real bonus when days are so busy exploring. Mlini’s restaurants are more expensive than neighbouring Cavtat, but the views are so worth it! Mlini is considerably quieter than Cavtat. The No 10 bus which takes you to Dubrovnik Old Town, stops at the top of hill (turn right out accommodation) and it is on opposite side of the road by the supermarket. Buses are sometimes busy but air conditioned so comfortable. Can also catch a boat to Dubrovnik which costs approximately €15 return per person. Catch from Mlini harbour, just past the Pirate bar. On Doris’ advice, we did the 3 island boat cruise. A long day of 9hrs (including stops) for €55 each. You only get 30 / 40 mins at the first two islands and 2hrs at the last island. The staff and are fellow passengers were all so lovely. We had a great time.

“Fantastic stay with a fabulous view!”

We have had a brilliant stay at Villa Carmen. The apparent was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. The owner’s were very friendly & knowledgeable regarding the area and were happy to help if advice was needed. There were a lot of steps up to the apartment but if you are fit and able this wasn’t a problem- you were rewarded with an amazing view from your private terrace. We would highly recommend!

A successful stay! The sea view and pool are a sight to behold as soon as you leave the room. Parking is available across the street. Just a few steps down and you'll find the beach and restaurants. There are also fast food joints nearby that only accept cash. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm very happy! See you soon again:)

The location was excellent, with the beach very close to the apartments. Plenty of restaurants are also within easy waking distance. The breakfast at the apartments was very enjoyable with plenty of home made produce available. A very welcoming and enjoyable stay

Property was amazing and has everything you need. Location is excellent and swimming pool is clean and lovely. Most of all, Doris and Carmen and all of the staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you all for a lovely stay once again!

“It was the perfect place to start our vacation in Croatia.”

The apartment is only a few meters away from the beach. Everything is close by - supermarket, the ferry to Dubrovnik, restaurants and cafés. Very friendly and helpful hosts, who also spoke German. We felt very welcome during our stay here and would come back anytime.

“Welcoming, relaxing and the weather was hot”

Could not fault anything at Villa Carmen! The people, the room, the pool were all great and the view from our terrace was amazing. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Doris was a perfect and lovely host. We are in the Marinero restaurant run by Victoria and also went on the three island tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wished we had stayed longer and will definitely go back!

“Lovely accommodation with amazing views and great location”

10 out of 10! This accommodation exceeded all our expectations. Villa Carmen has an amazing view over the sea and is lovely situated between lots of flowers and plants with cosy and private terraces all around. The pool is very nice and relaxing and the villa is situated in a nice calm and peaceful area right in front of the beach and on 5 min walking distance from two small villages with lots of restaurants and bars. Mlini with it's small harbour is absolutely beautiful. Also it is just a boat trip or local bus ride away from Dubrovnik Old Town (15 min) and buses go regurlarly and are really well organized. Dubrovnik is a very beautiful city. On top of that there is Doris (the owner) who is a fantastic hostess and always welcomes you with her lovely smile and is always willing to help with everything. Bonus for us was that there was a breakfast buffet where you could choose yourself what you would like to eat with something special from Doris' kitchen everyday. Try the homemade marmelade made from the grapes of their own terrace and the tuna pate! We would love to stay here again! Erik and Stephanie

Great location, 15mins uber till airport also 15 mins till old town, another option is to take taxi boat to old town about 30mins. Great restaurants easily 5mins walk or so. 2 mins walk to beach. Strongly recommend three island cruise via the host , it was such wonderful experience. Great breakfast! Fresh, healthy and cooked with love.Super hospitality host Doris and staff Stephanie It is definitely a highlight.

Amazingly helpful and nice hosts, great localization and clean rooms. Staying here felt like staying at home and I mean that in the best way possible. Really relaxing place.

“Beautiful traditional local place to stay in Mlini”

Great views and nice pool. Owner was so friendly and helpful. The garden was lovely and everything was well maintained and clean. Just a few steps down to a nice beach. Lot's of great restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The ferry ride from Mlini harbour to Dubrovnik was a great way to visit the city.
