Overview
Simply Saadani Camp, A Tent with a View Safaris is a unique safari camp situated just 3 km from the North gate to Saadani National Park. It features raised tree house-style thatched tented rooms scattered amongst coconut groves on a deserted stretch of wild beach. Each individually decorated room has a private terrace and a hammock with sea views. The beds are draped in mosquito nets and the private bathroom includes a bath or shower. The restaurant at Simply Saadani Camp, A Tent with a View Safaris overlooks the Indian Ocean and serves mostly seafood. It also has a well-stocked bar. Guests can enjoy a unique bush-dining experience. Activities at the lodge include nature-walking trails where guests can view smaller bush animals and bird watching. A canoe ride on the Mafuki creek is also on offer for yet another bird watching experience. Madete turtle sanctuary is 5 km from the property. A charter flight from Zanzibar to Saadani airstrip will take 15 minutes and a charter flight from Dar es Salaam will take 30 minutes.

“A hidden gem”
A great place to stay, great beaches, pristine and clean. Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there.

The lodge is set in the most beautiful place. Arriving at the car park still feels like you are deep in the bush. A couple of minutes walk later, the Indian Ocean fills the view. The place is remarkably atmospheric, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the food is great ad the rooms are chic ( in a Robinson Crusoe cool way).

“An idillic retreat by the sea”
An idillic retreat by the sea. Reached by a long road through the bush to reach the sea front. Beautiful individual raised separate tents with gorgeous views over the sea. The sense of isolation is exceptional and great place to chill out and lovely walks along the beach. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The all inclusive food is tasty and beautifully presented. The Wi-Fi works but is a bit patchy. It’s about 2 hours from Pangani and 2 hours from Saadani. Roads are reasonable if you take your time.

“It could not have been much better, we loved it.”
Absolutely beautiful location right on a gorgeous beach right next to the National Park. Tastefully designed and furnished, friendly and attentive staff, very good food.
