“Perfect to see AURORAS”

Everything. Going inside was a nice surprise to see how well treated was the place. Nice rooms, a good kitchenet. Everything was clean. It's quite far, but so worth it if you want to see Auroras! The surroundings are just amazing. The hot tub during the night, looking at the sky it's just the cherry on top of the cake! I really enjoyed my stay, and I want to come back.

The location and the cottage!!!! OMFG on arrival, we could spot seals and a dolphin! It was so silent that we could even hear the dolphin’s breath! There aren’t enough words to compliment this place! During our 17 day trip in Iceland, this was the best best best location! PS - gravel road is OK, as long as you take it slow and have a 4x4.

Excellent location. Best loo with a view. Cosy. Great hot tub and dark skies. Perfect for chilling as we were pausing the exploring. Good BBQ.

Small cottage, best fit for a family. Not new, but it has everything and warm. Nature is beautiful!!! Isolated place, 30 km away from the ring road. have to drive on a. gravel road, mountain pass that can by often foggy, and a serpentine that need 4x4. Go and stay there for min 2 days.

The cabin is dreamy. It’s a bit remote, but perfect for disconnecting. It has everything you need, though it’s a good idea to stop by a store before your visit. The jacuzzi and grill are a great addition. The view is incredible. We also went on a short hike to the Heljarfoss waterfall. Also we were lucky – we saw a small whale twice.

We had a great time, wonderful clean accommodation, equipped with everything. We loved it!

“Cosy cabin in a beautiful location away from the tourist trail”

Fabulous location - long but beautiful drive into the fiord. Definitely glad we stayed 3 nights to explore the area and as a restful break from driving. The cabin was cosy and well equipped and the hot tub a treat.

This is perfect place with beautiful landscape and jacuzzi. It is really worthy to pass this road and spend time in this location.

The place is hidden in the end of the fjord. The atmosphere there was magical! If you are looking for place to hide from crowds of tourists it is definetly right choice! Communication with the owner was excellent and she even came to visit us to check if all is ok when we arrived :) + Doggo lovers can find new furry friends there!

Nicely hidden location. Hot tub was good. Helpful owners when needed. Very nice “tiny” house. 40 min drive on gravel road, but worth it.

“Remote treasure”

It's a beautiful, cozy hut with breathtaking views into the mountains and over the fjord. So quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen, cute bathroom and a good mattress to sleep like a baby. The owners are very friendly and were extremely helpful to me on the first morning after arrival.... Also they gave me a nice hint to a hike above the hut, which was very nice. The beauty of the setting is definitely worth riding the not so nice unpaved road. Just take it easy, it's only 32km 😏 with great views.

“A wonderful stay”

A lovely cottage, clean, cozy and well-quipped. The host was friendly and responsive. The hot tub and scenery added to the fabulous experience. We had a pleasant stay there :)
