“Best backpackers ever”

I spent 2 1/2 years backpacking non-stop and Guesthouse Miyazaki is the best backpackers I have ever stayed in. It is actually a lovely, large and modern Japanese home. It is not what you imagine a backpackers to be, although you can meet backpackers here. The house has a huge genkan (entrance), a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, a fully equipped kitchen (with free tea and coffee), and a large bathroom. My room was huge. It had a lovely polished wooden floor. Even though it is a backpackers, guests are provided with Imabari (a brand) towels and toothbrushes! The owner/host was absolutely lovely. He explained what was in the location surrounding the house. He even offered to pick me up in his car from Miyazaki train station. He is also a paragliding teacher, and provides personal tours (by car) of the sites of Miyazaki. I very much enjoyed my stay at Guesthouse Miyazaki.

Wonderful host, you can't find a better one. A host and a guide to this city Nice kitchen setup. Free coffee and tea. Good fridge, toaster, microwave. Nice size room. Good restroom, and shower. Speak fair English. A good place to stay

“Worst service during my travels !!”

As an accommodation owner who runs a service business, it is very inappropriate to call me uncivilized, treating my child by taking cigarettes even though my child does not smoke at this property. less friendly and rude in answering our questions. And make very unreasonable rules for customers who are traveling in Miyazaki. And I did not occupy this accommodation, because I was very disappointed with the communication that had occurred so far. Even though I have booked and paid for this property from the 4th to the 10th of October.

“Nice stay with friendly host”

The room is spacious and there is a bathtub. Price is good. Sugita-san is a great and friendly host. We went on a tour to Takachiho and Aso. And he also took me and the other guests to Unzen. I will come back when I visit Miyazaki again.

Cheap, great for a night. I was in the Jap room at the first floor. Futon was confortable. Bathroom is shared. Had a good rest. Owner gave me a perfect tourist pamphlet for the region

I especially liked the location, very convenient.

Seems really strict at first impression but finally is nice. The owner offered me to change room to be more comfortable at 1st floor because I was leaving early but I would not have been comfortable staying longer in this room with very thin paper wall.

The location was great: right in the heart of Miyazaki not too far from the station. The owner is an incredibly nice guy who is very passionate about showing off all of the great things about Miyazaki prefecture. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the owner did everything he could to make the stay as comfortable as possible. He also helped me get to see places in Miyazaki that I otherwise would not have been able to get to on this trip. This guest house is truly a hidden gem, and very well worth the price!

Shin-san is an awesome host! Very kind and uptodate with the technology. He was always offering to drive me to nice spots, restaurants or onsen. We spent some nice moments with another guest. He also speaks English pretty well so it made communicating easier. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable The guesthouse is located close to Miyazaki station

The owner Shin volunteered to pick me up at the train station and recommended a tour route that worked to perfection. The care was of highest order and introduced me to another person I could hangout with for a while.
