“Fantastic”

The place is nice, abit of a getaway, since it is pretty far from Aoshima city. The bikes were nice to get to and from the cities. The surfing lesson was amazing, and not pricy at all

Lovely atmosphere, very likeminded people that are staying in this hostel. I really enjoyed my time here. I loved that we could use the bikes, and the surf lesson was great. The barbecue was really fun.

A super friendly and social atmosphere. The owners treat you like family and help you out in anyway they possibly can. Made some great friends here and had an all-round amazing time. The place was also really clean and well maintained with free bikes, wetsuits and cheap surfboard rental and lessons. Honestly can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Emi and Sok!

“Best place to stay in Miyazaki!”

In my 2,5 months in Japan so far this was the best hostel I stayed at. The hosts were super kind and went out of their way to help with anything. Thank you Emi for driving me to the convenience store to drop off my luggage! The guests were also so kind everyone was so open and it was such a great welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be back and try the surfing lessons next time as well! Would totallyy recommend!

Kind people and a lovely place

The hosts were fantastic ! Emi and Sok are the kindest people ! Plenty of choice for surfboard rental, free bikes to use to head to the surf. Such a welcoming experience and so nice. It stands out as a stellar experience when compared to my previous experiences of hostels in Japan !

The authenticity and welcoming warmth of Emi and Sok as hosts and the overall atmosphere and mood in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is also very near to the main spots for surfing and getting there by bike is easy. The bikes, although a little small for my size, are free of charge to use which makes exploring and getting to the spot a breeze. Being there was also a very social experience as everyone was up to talk and do stuff together which enhanced the experience.

I wanted to reschedule within a few days of my arrival and they were very accommodating. They make you feel welcome and I felt I could approach them about anything The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen may just be better stocked than any other hostel kitchen I have seen in all my travels. Surf board rentals are affordable and calculated by day so if the more you surf the more value you get. Speaking of surfing, the location just across the street is perfect. It's very shallow and sandy so no coral reefs or anything dangerous you'd have to watch out for. Perfect for someone who is just starting out
