The owner at the Sol Hotel was so friendly and kind. I asked for a free upgrade as we were celebrating a birthday and he gave us full choice of any room we wanted. I chose the best room, 3 upgrades higher, all at no extra cost. He went out of his way to give us a great breakfast and allowed us late check out till 1. The room was large and comfortable, tastefully designed with a lovely patio. The area was also lovely, a bit more quiet and lots of galleries/boutique shops/cafes to explore nearby

“Simply Magnificent.”
Breakfast was amazing. Healthy AND sooooo delicious !!! The attention to detail was second to none. We were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much to ask. Rooms were designer ! Our host even took us on an awesome Jeep Tour of the Ramon Crater. Her knowledge of the history of the Crater including flora and fauna was amazing. And her skill with driving the formidable desert landscape was so impressive! She also helped with sourcing mountain bikes which we used to tour the crater. That will go down as one of life's peak experiences!

The place itself is very nice. I loved the neighborhood. They're in the artists' quarter of Mitzpeh Ramon. Very cool. It's also right on the border of the desert. Really liked the area.
