“Overall a great place and we'll definitely book it again!”
The location is fantastic: perched on the side of a hill, you look out over the town of Mittenwald with the massive Karwendel in the background. It can't get much more spectacular. The house is small but quite cozy. It has everything you need, and there are local bakeries in just 10 minutes' walking distance. The beds in the alcove above the kitchen are only for the brave - the ladder is very steep - but we knew about this in advance and it was no problem. We slept very sound. It is obvious that the owners have been putting a lot of effort into making this little old house a comfortable and safe place to stay in, even in the winter. Communication with them was easy and they replied immediately when I had a question about the heating system.

Everything, the views especially!! Sleeps are comfortable, house is lovely and warmly decorated, outdoor seating is excellent! Choice of 3: balcony, terrace, or small garden. Highly recommended to all! Very clean and welcoming.
