The guesthouse is in the old town and an easy walk to the railway station. I enjoyed the traditional Bavarian hospitality and surroundings. My room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The excellent buffet breakfast. The property is close to many walking and hiking tracks. Good recommendations for restaurants and local activities.

The room was comfortable, very nicely expanded by the balcony with view. Two other points stand out. One was the quality of the dinner and breakfast, both of which were absolutely superb, beyond expectations. The second was the memorable hosts: kind, helpful, gracious. They left us with wonderful memories, so important when travelling. Thank you most sincerely.

An authentic alpine guest house, with plenty of space and good breakfast. Amazing Mountain view from our balcony. And the proprietor was very helpful and it’s well located (albeit Mittenwald is tiny!).

There were many choices for the typical German breakfast, hearty breads, yogurt, muesli, jam, hard boiled eggs, etc. The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated as was the room that we stayed in. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and professional and spoke English with us when our limited German failed us. The room we stayed in appeared to be newly renovated, including the bathroom, and it was decorated with stunning photos from the area. The kitchenette came with a mini bar and all the utensils, glasses and plates that we needed for our stay. The view from the balcony faced the beautiful Karwendel mountains, had it been warm enough, we would have spent enjoying the view from the balcony. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood just a five minute walk from the train station and very close to the main street of Mittenwald. My travel companion and I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. We were pleasantly surprised with this property, it has the charming Bavarian guesthouse feel but with a modern touch and excellent service.

The accommodation offers rooms with balcony with chairs to sit and relax when not exploring the surroundings.
