“Awesome place”

Amazing place to stay during the henro pilgrimage. It has everything you might need, and more. The host is so helpful and kind. It was one of my best experiences in Japan. The bar is also so cool. I recommend this place very much.

I have spend in hundreds of hotels, ryokans and guesthouses on Shikoku over a period of 14 years. This one is in my top 5 easily. I don’t mention the obvious aspects of lodging; all is top notch. Period. No I just mention this lovely family with their two adorable boys and their high level of care and warmth. From the moment you step through the gate, with those authentic ‘no-ren’ you are…. taken care of. They are not just living along the famous pilgrimage route; they embody it. Arigato my friends.

Super Clean, every detail, very thoughtful design

“Incredible hostel and host”

Despite being 6 years old, the property seems like it’s just opened! The dormitory still smells of wood. Everything is immaculate. The bathroom is very pleasant and modern, right next to the sleeping areas. There is a fun bar and communal area to hang out. There are only 6 beds in the dormitory. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely. The surrounding area is beautiful. Overall one of the best hostels I stayed in Japan.

A very good place in stay. It's a 15 mins walk from station. There are not many stores and restaurant nearby. Instead, It's surrounded by farmland. Very beautiful view. The public area is pretty chill. Owner stayed in CA before and speaks English very well.

“Very chill place just below Temple 71”

Very, very nice staff, on-site bar is super chill (shame that everyone else on site that day is Japanese - my Japanese isn't enough for a good conversation). Clean rooms / beds and plenty of cubicles and wash basins for a night's rest. Super Nice location below Temple 71.

Mood and way it's managed. Rooms and facilities are new and we'll kept. Owner speaks English so good communication. Convenient location for Shikoku Henro.

“Perfect countryside escape”

Literally one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed at. The owner is super friendly and speaks great English. The main lounge is comfy and has many interesting items related to Canada, baseball, and the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage to look at. The beds are soft and spacious. The showers and other facilities are clean and modern. Absolutely loved everything about it and will definitely stay here again!

For walking Henro, it couldn't be more convenient, right on the trail. The host is a friendly guy who operates a very fine bar as well. We loved the interaction had there with other guests, sharing some fine Nihonshu. The showers were excellent, and the bunk beds very comfortable, a great place to chill.

Great place, I had the dorm to myself and it seems completely new, still smells like wood. There's a big garden and even a bar. Very cosy overall and nice owner. Free laundry as well.

“Wonderful place to break the journey on the Henro trail.”

Right on the Henro path, about 3km before Iyadaniji temple. It’s clean, comfortable and very well-appointed, with a bar that looked great. Seiji is an excellent host who has created a wonderful resting place for travellers and pilgrims.

Must be the owner. Very welcoming, friendly and kind. We stayed in a private room in the hostel, and there was not much difference compared to a business hotel room. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem at all, it was still very private and discreet.

Cheap, great vibes, the owner is fantastic, the beds were clean, genuinely no problems.

The house is beautiful~ It’s hard to believe the guesthouse is already 6 years old. Everything is so new and well maintained. The owner speaks fluent English and was very informative~ Highly recommended!

“Best hostel on Shikoku”

It is one of the best spots I stayed on Shikoku island. The host and his family created a little paradise. Very nice garden. New facilities with large bed in dormitory with much privacy. And the bar is just a jewel. Very tasteful with a large selection of beers. A super bonus is that the host speaks very good English since he stays a couple of years in Canada. Just go there and experience yourself. You can thank me later

A fabulous hostel (with one private Japaese-style bedroom ). Brand new, spotlessly clean, comfortable, with shared bathrooms, a large bar/lounge and outdoor space. Perfect English is spoken by a very engaging and helpful host.

Great place to stay. Nice common area, both inside and outside. Easy to meet new people.

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, right on the Henro path.
