“A green wonder in the mountains”
We were a norwegian family of eigth, 3 generations, that planned a 12 days holiday in Oman. We were very happy with our stay at Harit Al Misfat Inn. Perfect location in the old village of Misfat. Charming rooms in an old mud brick building. Food was ok and we appreciated good service. We stayed during Ramadan but we got food for breakfast and lunch in boxes and nice buffet for dinner.

“Fascinating place in old building”

“Authentic and unforgettable stay in the heart of the village with exceptional hospitality”
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the village, making it an ideal choice. The rooms are beautifully decorated with great taste and thoughtfully preserve the spirit of the village, which added a lot of charm to our stay. There is also a terrace with a stunning view over the village and the surrounding mountains, which was a real highlight. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout. A special thank you to Eshaq fantastic host, helping with parking and our large luggage (no easy task considering the many steps in the village), gave us excellent recommendations on the best places to visit and even showed us around his village on the other side of the old village.

“Worthy one-night stay”
Beautifully renovated traditional house. With wonderful views and impressive sunset. Snacks and water were available at all times. Dinner was sufficient. Very kind and helpful staff, they offered a warm welcome.

“Beautiful, clean and quiet place.”
The hotel’s ambience is very beautiful and authentic. We chose the most beautiful room with a bathtub, and the views were incredible. A very quiet and clean location for complete relaxation. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Water, coffee, tea, fruits and other snacks are always available. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

This accommodation and the whole village really are something very special! The house itself is unique and original, the rooms have their very own charm and everything is very clean. The view is amazing and the fact that everything in the village and the accommodation is run by locals makes the stay perfect. I recommend that if you stay for only 1-2 nights you leave larger luggage in your car (if possible) and carry a bag with you to the hotel. The way from the parking lot is not that far but it is quite steep and narrow at some points and includes some steps. Do not forget to greet people from the village. They are very friendly and please make sure you respect the rules published at the entrance of the village.

Wonderfully renovated old house in Misfah, with two terraces. Friendly staff, comfortable check-in and self-service at the terrace. Had the room with bathtub, was nice to use haha. Go for walk down the farms, it is nice. Quiet place, clean, recommended!
