“Great experience”
This is a completely different experience vs standard hotels. We stayed in a garden balcony suite, which actually is a renovated old stable. Modern design, spacious, very comfy for a family. Marvelous views from huge windows over the trees. Delicious breakfasts. You’ll find 2 restaurants in the Mirwart village, one of them O55 - highly recommend. Nearby the Caves of Han.

“Fabulous building in great location, but didn't meet our (high) expectations.”
Beautiful chateau in a nice location. The building looks very impressive from outside and much of the inside is very nicely finished. Breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine was very good. The restaurant is Fabulous! Johnny Boniface is a fantastic chef who makes some wonderful dishes all presented and served beautifully - perfection on a plate.

Sorry, not our cup of tea.... Jul 2024 • Family Some constructive critisism: -Parking: the only spaces available when we arrived (2pm), were at the bottom of a rather steep incline/hill. -Reception: climbing the steep incline than facing 2 flight of stairs to reach your reception was challenging (we noticed a lonely buggy but nobody available to assist) -Room: after a 1 hour wait (accepted your check in is 3pm) climbing another 2 flight of stairs to reach the room (no elevator, lucky you helped us getting our luggage up) added to the discomfort, the room itself was, while spacious, claustrophobic due low ceiling and very small windows high up, unable to look outside, the absence of aircon made it uncomfortably hot to sleep at night. The LG Smart TV was not so smart... no provision to cast netflix or youtube or anything else for that sake. The water from the faucet was very heavily clorinated. -Bathroom: no handdouche in the seperate toilet, no shower cu icke, only bathtub, no attachment to hold handshower, no shower curtain. Restaurant: closed Bistro: we booked 18.30. After a slow start (2 visits to the service area to attract attention on our presence (15 minutes to get seated, another 15 minutes to be shown a menu, another 30 minutes for the appetizer to be served, the food was actually nicely presented and very tasty. We skipped desert and coffee as again no waiter to be seen and close to 2.5hours had elapsed.

“I can't wait to be back and stay few days to escape the world and befriend the forests around.”
It's a historic building in a most beautiful getaway landscape ... this castle set in the middle of a forest is just a dream. The renovation must have been tough but stunningly done and finished to the finest details to keep the originality of the surroundings ... truly bravo. The staff is small but dedicated and willing to do the most for you, specially the cook - from Lyon / France - is to be recommended for exceptional willingness, tbh my first ever such comment to give to a French men :-). The food was beyond, top class.
