The location was superb - we could walk to the beach and the town. We loved the healthy breakfast and the service was all done with smiles and chatter. The host was very easygoing, helpful in pointing out useful places to eat and use.

The accommodation is simple. No unnecessary luxury. Quality and price ratio is right. Great location! Good and relaxed vibe. Warm welcome and there is a nice atmosphere. Nice and informal, homey and you are really seen. No fuss, just be yourself!

We spent two days at Jackie’s, and it was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, just a few meters from the beach and the center. Jackie and the entire staff were incredibly kind, super welcoming, and always attentive. We loved our stay there—the rooms and bathroom are simple but more than comfortable, and the guesthouse has such a great vibe, super chill and friendly. I especially loved the yoga spot and the small outdoor gym, which made the experience even better. Jackie also gave us some fantastic recommendations, and we truly felt at home. Very good value for the money—we’ll definitely be back!

Jackie is a fantastic host. Although Mirissa is busy and buzzing the guesthouse is like an oasis. Very quiet. Jackie makes great coffee, the breakfast made by Nalinda is absolutely brilliant and really healthy. It was our honeymoon on and Jackie decorated the room and gave us a bottle of wine. An awesome, affordable and surprisingly tranquil place to stay. also the yoga classes are exceptional.

“Friendly place in Mirissa”

Nice guest house 5 mins walk from Mirissa beach in a good location. Run by a very friendly Spanish host. Breakfast was fruit with oats and coconut milk followed by avocado on toast with a choice of eggs, both delicious. This is served in a separate bar area near the property entrance, they also served drinks and excellent burgers / food some nights (no issue with noise as rooms set further back). Nice airy social space on entrance to building with rooms. Yoga shala with daily classes on site, though sadly our schedule meant we didn’t have chance to partake.

“Our favorite stay in all Sri-Lanka. Definitely, a place to return.”

It was our favorite stay while traveling in Sri Lanka. We booked as a base to leave our luggage and then took short trips to other cities. And after traveling and getting back to Jackie's, it was like coming back home. Jackie is an amazing host, with a big heart, welcoming and friendly, always ensuring everyone is ok. He is from Spain, so it was a plus to speak Spanish with him. The breakfast was our favorite compared to other stays around the country. The opportunity to do yoga every day in a nice setup was priceless. Also, the beach was quite close. At Jackie's, we saw birds, monkeys, peacocks, and squirrels closer than in other stays. But, if you like to sleep until late, remember earplugs, as peacocks are loud at sunrise. We didn't find that a problem, though.

“Good guesthouse with great location”

The location is very good - we felt safe, the beach is close (5min by foot), the main road with shops and restaurants are close by too and it was stil calm. Jackie is a bit special but in a positive manner. :-) The breakfast was tasty. The yoga classes in the morning were great, there were different trainers, but also as a guest you have to pay for it with a discount. There were little problems with our air con, what can happen, Jackie felt sorry and took care and gave us a discount. So we cannot complain. :-)

Jackie is a great host!

Jackie's place is a tranquil oasis ideally located for the beach and many great restaurants in Mirissa. Our room was very comfortable, and the shared spaces, including the garden, yoga deck, and breakfast area were absolutely lovely. Jackie and his team were so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel at home.

Great breakfasts and coffees. Everyone was super friendly, warm and welcoming. It was a real relaxed and happy atmosphere. Short stroll to beach on a quiet road, really well positioned for everything there is to do, best end of the beach for surfing. Lots of restaurant and bar choices near if you wanted a change from Jackies bar and his excellent burger menu. Yoga each morning in the garden. Loved it and definitely would be back!
