Overview
Strathmore Farm B&B offers farm cottage accommodation, 3 km from the township of Mirboo North. Warragul is 35 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The cottage features 2 bedrooms with built-in storage as well as a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, bathroom (with heater), and a living and dining area that includes a large flat-screen TV, DVD, and stereo. The cottage also includes reverse cycle air-conditioning and laundry facilities. The property offers high-speed (100 Mbps) Starlink satellite internet free of charge, but we do not have free-to-air TV at the cottage (may change with new infrastructure). You can relax and eat on the front deck, overlooking the farm gardens and Berrys Creek. There is also a BBQ for guest use. Strathmore Farm B&B is a 5-minute drive from various restaurants including Grand Ridge Brewery and Mirboo North Hotel. The town of Meeniyan is a 20 minute drive from the property.

This was my second visit to Strathmore Farm. It is a quiet, clean and comfortable cottage in a stunning rural location. Great breakfast. Hosts, Julie and Doug, are just fantastic.

“Great getaway”
Great place to explore Mirboo North and Gipsland. There is so much to do in this area that you need longer than our overnight stay. The cottage is lovely with everything you would need in a perfect setting. Breakfast was a bonus , the granola and jams delicious. I'll definitely be back for a longer stay.

Doug and Julie made everything to let us feel welcome, generous breakfast with homemade bread, granola, variety of jams, eggs, milk, butter and pure orangejuice. They asked several times if everything is ok. Great location for trips: Coal Creek Village Kurumburra, State Coal Mine, Walks near Mirbo North, Coast, Playgrounds.... Very quite, very clean and everything provided. Washing machine good. Much space. Beds really good.

Strathmore Farm is small but truly special. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable, always happy to share great tips about local sights and attractions. The relaxed breakfast setup, with fresh bread available without fixed times, makes everything feel easy and personal. It was so lovely and peaceful that we actually changed our plans and stayed on the farm for a whole day instead of going out. A genuinely warm and memorable place.
