Overview
This 4-star hotel located in downtown Minneapolis is a 10-minute drive from the University of Minnesota. The upscale hotel features spa services and rooms equipped with a 37-inch flat-screen TV. “As a local or for one night good. Anything other or longer, maybe look elsewhere. No wifi, amenities had issues, bedding”

Arrived at 23.45 to be told that the booking had never existed... Which is unlikely, as the hotel had emailed me the day before asking me to check in online. Apparently, they couldn't contact me as they didn't have a phone number... Just my email address, of course... They did not offer another option and claimed that because we'd used booking.com it was not their responsibility. As such, they made no effort to find alternative accommodation. Fortunately, there are nicer and friendlier hotels around the corner who are only too happy to offer a nice room, with free breakfast at a saving of $100 per night without reservation. If you like expensive arrogance and zero customer service, the foshay is for you. Otherwise, I recommend saving money and staying elsewhere.

“Decent work hotel in central Minneapolis”
The room wasn't huge, but it was comfortably designed. The bathroom is nice, with a large and pleasant shower. The location is convenient, and was perfect for my meetings in the IDS.

Old Building. Location. Historical. Restaurants were elegant. Classy feel with friendly staff (mostly). Area felt safe. Good restaurants near by.

“Perfectly fine, but not a top-end experience.”
The hotel is in a lovely old building with a lot of charm. The bars are both fun, in their own ways, with the downstairs bar being more lively and the upstairs bar--Prohibition--being a chiller vibe. If you enjoy steak, Manny's is the real deal.
