Good hostel, enough place, shower with hot water. We had problems with electricity and light during 2 days, but the problem is with the municipality and not the hostel. The keys are very small, try not to lose them!

“A nice and charming little hostel near the center of Baños”
The hostel is nice and charming. The rooms upstairs are constructed of wood, which makes it charming.The kitchen area is fine too, but perhaps better suited for the younger travelers. I stayed with my little dog and there were no problems. The people working there is nice and helpful even though they just show up once a day for the cleaning. I can absolutely recommend the place for a few days!

“Great and relaxing”
It’s clean and tranquil. Hot shower with strong water pressure. The kitchen is basic but you can cook without problems. The staff is helpful.

“Should have been cheaper”
The place is in good condition, clean and good standard. In the Mindo scale it is at the edge of the village but not in the jungle, which means it worth less. Now, Dec.2025 it was rather empty, so I think they are overcharging

“A very comfortable stay with a kind host!”
A very nice, small hostal within walking distance to the center. Single room was spacious and clean. ‘Tamara’ was very friendly and hospitable! The kitchen and communal area were very beautifully decorated. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Fast Wi-Fi speeds. Apart from the outside noise, it was generally a calm and relaxing hostal. This was one of the better ‘hostals’ I have stayed in.

“Lovely staff, beautiful place to rest”
This accommodation in Mindo was absolutely lovely. When I booked, there was only a single room left, but I was so happy I chose it because the place is very tranquil and having my own room made it even more peaceful. The hostel is very clean, with beautiful surroundings and a nice view. You wake up with birds chirping. There’s a kitchen you can use and the common area is super cozy — the swings around the dining table were such a fun idea. The girl at reception was very sweet, caring and helpful. The location is great — Mindo is small so everything is walking distance. Jumbo’s chocolate tasting is just a few minutes away, and also Casa Amarilla, the terminal, and the main street. It felt like staying in a peaceful little temple. I loved it!

The room, Common area, kitchen are really well maintained with all the facilities. Location is quite close, walking distance to central area with all the restaurants and shops, yet peaceful enough for good night sleep. Highly recommended for solo or couple travelers

This was an amazing place we stayed 2 more nights as planned it was great location very comfortable and had a kitchen we can use to make food we loved it here the staff were amazing and very helpful was like a nice big family! Highly Recommend 10/10 😊

It was noisy due to the swings in the kitchen that were below our room. Hot water wasn't reliable. Matress eas old. Kitchen needs a fridge. Poor lighting.
