A tranquil place out of town( about a 15min walk) we had the place all to ourselves the first night. We bought food in town and cooked dinner at the place in a well appointed kitchen. Wonderful night sleep listening to the river, frogs and walking up with the birds.

The property was beautiful and the room was comfortable. I slept amazing

“Peaceful stay in the cloud forest”

The place is tranquil and peaceful and great for relaxing and birdwatching. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast really tasty and generous.

Dirty, noisy, kitchen not functioning. Avoid this place.

Very good rooms at a good price! Everything seemed very organised and clean.

“A great find”

Peaceful location and a very comfortable place to stay. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Super hot shower in a big bathroom, and lots of storage. Daisy was very friendly and made a delicious breakfast each morning. Good laundry service, too.

Room was large, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Nice to chill in the hammock outside and watch the birds.

“Stay here it's great”

Fabulous location, a pleasant walk from the town centre. Huge, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. A quiet, peaceful place to wind down and relax. Lovely staff, too. I'd definitely stay here again.

“Magical Mindo and the perfect stay”

The Temple 2 is I believe the best stay we have had since start travelling. We were greeted by the owner, Pao with a lovely chat and coffee before moving to our room. The room was very spacious with a very comfy bed, panoramic windows. The thing we most liked of our room was the bathroom which had big windows all around and in the shower with fantastic views of the cloud forest while maintaining privacy. The kitchen was very well made, elegant and free to use for cooking. Also the breakfast was enough to fill you up and served by Daisy and Marisol, two sweet ladies that took care of our stay so well and made the experience authentic. Temple 2 is the perfect choice for people who search tranquillity, natural beauty and comfortable stay in Mindo. We loved everything.

“Beautiful placecin nature”

This place is very special if you like nature you will love it here.I saw humming birds toucans loads of other birds.The staff are great very helpful breakfast is good. It's a 10 minute stroll into town .Cannot recommend this place enough.

Its a nice and quiet place, of course depend on the other guests. I did not see that many birds, but may be I was just in the wrong season there. The place is a bit outside of town, but its in a walkable distance, The Management and the stuff will always help you!

“Relaxing stay with lovely ambience.”

The room we were allocated was large. The bathroom was also a good size. It was very clean. There was good hot water and water pressure. The staff were excellent. The hotel is a little out of the town, but this adds to the charm of the place. You feel like you're in the jungle. At the time of our stay there were no bugs. I would stay here again. I definitely recommend it to this who visit Mindo...so long as you don't mind a 10 min walk to town. I think it's worth the effort.

Huge rooms in a beautiful location. I loved hanging out in the hammock and watching the birds. Bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is huge. They made me breakfast which suited my dietary requirements which was greatly appreciated. The staff are all really lovely.

Beautiful place full of nature, very good view. Friendly people and MIT. The place is very comfortable, close to the city and economic activities and very good organization. Thank you to everyone.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The woman who cooked our breakfast each morning was so kind. It was lovely chatting to her. The rooms were lovely and clean. Our room was also super spacious. It was a fantastic place to spend a few nights in Mindo. It’s about a 15min walk from the town but it is a nice walk and there are plenty of birds in this area. We loved our stay. Safe, quiet & tranquil place to stay in Mindo, I would highly recommend.

The room was nice and had a great view. The bed was comfortable and had a good size. The personnel was friendly and welcoming.

The accommodation is a little outside the town but therefore you have a lot of wildlife around you. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also the staff was really friendly. There was a water outage in the Region during our stay and the staff relocated us to The Temple I so that we could still enjoy our stay. Many thanks again for this effort.

There was a big flexibility with our check in and check out, the staff was kind and also waited for us to make a breakfast and helped us to find a guide for bird watching.
