“Nature and solitude”
Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful place to stay, the sound of the river is delightful. Hosts are incredibly accommodating. Cute dog. Nice balcony on each cabin means you can enjoy a glass of wine in nature.

“Dirty room, no hot water, property seems very run down.”
The lady that checked us in seemed nice. However, she does not speak English even though the listing said they did, so it was a bit difficult to communicate. She made us a nice breakfast in the morning.

Rivers Song was beautiful, run by a lovely family who accommodated our vegan breakfast needs. We ended up booking a night in the riverside cabin as well which was extremely special. Probably best if you have a bike or a car as it's a bit of a walk out of town.

The Jordan style breakfast was fantastic as well as the bbq facilities. The host was very accommodating to our concerns and questions. It was wonderful to be located right on the river. The hookah after our BBQ was a great personal touch!

“Wonderful escape in nature”
The owner was really nice, he helped us a lot (called taxis) and cooked a delicious breakfast and afternoon tea. We could also use the kitchen. The house is beautiful, sorrounded by nature, you can always hear birds and the river. It is really close to the Teleferico Minjoy if you want to take it to go to Cascadas Mindo.

Family very friendly and welcoming, great location not too far out of Mindo (easy walk or cheap taxi), peaceful, really good breakfast, nothing too much trouble (free laundry etc)

Enjoyed the location and the cabin was nice. The owner was great and breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place that is cozy and has great views of the river. Location is great!

“Really nice stay near the river”
We enjoyed the nice place near the river (also if you don’t book a river house, there is a common space at the river). The staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The smaller rooms are perfect for cat lovers, there are 3 nice cats waiting to be petted. WiFi was good in the house, but not at the river. There is good LTE reception though. The breakfast was delicious, after months of having bread and jam it was nice to have a Syrian breakfast and excellent Arabic coffee with cardamom. We sometimes walked the half hour to Mindo, which feels safe, even at night. When it rained we took a taxi for about 3 or 4 dollar.

“Magic place”

“a beautiful oasis”
comfortable, clean, cosy room and very quiet at night. delicious Syrian breakfast every day, the hosts are so hospitable and generous, we shared nice evenings together. Best location for butterfly garden and the cable car to the waterfalls. it’s nearly 30 min walk to town but at night you see the fireflies and in the day many birds so it’s worth it. many taxis pass you walking too. drinking water available which is a bonus. laundry for a small fee. the cats are adorable. a beautiful place.

“like at home!”
excellent place to stay in Mindo, with hot water, good internet and safe parking spot for the car. all very clean and big comfortable beds. rooms have access to terrace. the hostel is located next to the river in the forest you wake up with the songs of the birds .The best coffee served for breakfast. Asem and his wife are the best hosts you could imagine. we felt immediately at home
