The staff were amazing and friendly. The patio where Breakfast was served was really cute and pleasant. The cabana themselves were cute and the property overall is gorgeous and nice.

Nice quiet location outside of the town - peaceful (apart from our first night, more on that below) Tasty breakfast with coffee, eggs, bread, fruit, juice Pool was a nice addition for relaxing by Staff were friendly (host dropped us to the bus station and wouldn't take any money for it) Lovely dog at the property, very friendly

“Quiet, friendly little paradise.”

The owner, Cesar, and manager Maria were extremely friendly and hospitable. There are a few cabins on a large property. No music or disturbances, so great for feeling totally in nature. In and around the dining area there were allways lots of kolibris/hummingbirds, many kinds - not afraid of humans, buzzing around your head at some 40 centimeters. Good breakfast, in accordance to guests' likings. I should also mention the friendly and flexible pick-up service from Quito Airport for just $40

“Exceptional Host in Authentic Mindo Environment”

Cesar the owner was absolutely exceptional! He went so so far out of his way to make us welcome, orient to the surroundings of Mindo and Ecuador in general. Friendly and attentive, he and his family made our stay at Los Cedos fabulous! We got to try out the new hot tub overlooking lush hills and valleys, which is thoughtfully planned out when you arrive so you have the space to your party alone. The setting is outside the downtown, about 1/2 mile outside and uphill from the town center and you get a chance to hear the jungle go to sleep and wake up. We also got to play with new baby puppy Frost, who is the cutest creature you’ll ever meet!

Great location on the edge of town surrounded by vegetation. Very helpful staff. Good value.

Not much. This place takes Rustic to a new level. Place is overgrown and run down.

Totally in nature individual cabin stay in Mindo. Greeted by hummingbirds each morning at breakfast, delightful. Approximately 20 minutes walk to Mindo’s restaurants etc. Hot water to make tea available all day.

Very nice people, Cesar helps to understand all options in Mindo. He is very flexible with timings when arriving earlier or later. Great garden in the middle od nature and nice breakfast place. Lots of flowers and hummungbirds. Calm and just 10 min from Mindo Center.

Very nice and friendly staff - although they can’t speak English, they do their best to help. Comfortable cabin is in the middle of garden full of hummigbirds. Silent place, 10 minutes walk from city center. Tea and coffee is available all day. We arrived late in the evening and lady (manager) prepared dinner for us even though they don't normally offer it.

Cesar is a super friendly host who welcomes you with open arms. Although we don’t speak Spanish, he tried to explain all activities in the neighbourhood with Google Translate/basic Spanish. Breakfast was delicious, with an amazing view on the garden filled with kolibries. He even gave us a lift to the center. Recommender!

Cesar was very helpful and very kind! Nice place in nature

Beautiful cabin tucked into a corner of the forest. Hummingbirds hover right outside the window and there’s plenty of other birds nesting around the hotel. Breakfast was great. The owner was really helpful and gave me a lift to the bus a few km away on the main road to Quito. Also helped recommending bird watching tours, butterfly sanctuaries, hikes and ziplining tours. There’s a super friendly dog called Floof who kept trying to follow me on my activities too 😂

“Awesome stay with very kind owner/dog”

The owner was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. He even gave us clothes against the rain. The dog from the owner is the best dog you’ll see in Ecuador (if not South-America). Also the breakfast area looks amazing and there are colobries flying around. The breakfast was also very good. The croissants are way better than in pandarias, and if we wanted more of anything, the owner gave it to us.

The owner of the place is a really lovely man. He told us all about what we can do in and around mindo and helped us out in any way possible. Really nice breakfast, a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Would definitely recommend staying here!
