The garden is especially wonderful. The breakfast is healthy and good quality. The staff/owners were most helpful. The sheets/bed were comfortable.

The orchid garden is absolutely stunning, and the entire place has a fantastic feel of being almost completely remote- even though it's in town! We stayed in the more rustic bungalow, so make sure you review all pictures relevant to your booking, not just the deluxe accommodation, otherwise you might be a bit surprised! It was all comfortable and nice, had an issue with the hot shower, but it got fixed pretty much immediately. Someone is always on hand, the staff are lovely and friendly and realy helpful.

Great central location. Good breakfast, very obliging host. Beautiful large, light, clean & airy room. I was a little late back from an early morning bird tour but was still given breakfast with a smile. Organised early morning transport back to Quito airport for a reasonable rate. Definitely recommend!

In the middle of a beautiful garden full of orchids and strange flowering plants. Basic comfy cabanas- rustic.Perfectly adequate breakfast. Owner helped us fill up our hot water flask twice. Owner arranged a birding walk with excellent guide Alex. Also advised where to go for humming bird viewing at Hermit trail with Anthony which had been fantastic.

The family that runs the Cabanas is lovely. They are accommodating and kind. The room was large, airy and comfortable with a private bathroom. It was peaceful and I felt at home there. if you love orchids it is a great place to stay also.

Incredibly peaceful, restful setting with cabins set among a beautiful wild garden. Have never seen as many hummingbirds. Cabins fantastic!

Good location, beautiful garden, helpful staff. The hotel staff organised an early “cock of the rock” birding tour for us, it was excellent, and one of of our Ecuadorian highlights. $100US for two people - saw many birds and had a basic breakfast with hummingbirds flying around. I can recommend the tour and the hotel.

Beautiful breakfast with fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea, bread, jam and butter and eggs. You can observe the birds from there. The hotel is close to the center, yet it feels like you are in a forest. It's really quite, and the orchids are stunning. Our room was big and really clean amd we could watch the bird from our window. The staff has been lovely and helpful

The staff was super friendly, and the location is great. It has a beautiful garden, plant setting, and flowers with many birds visiting. the room was super clean and comfortable with amenities, surrounded by trees. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, and I can highly recommend it.

Back to nature in these cabanas; surrounded by trees and nature sounds of birds, frogs, crickets etc Our room was comfortable, clean and big. The staff were fabulous, we asked for help with ATM machine (if you need cash you need to go to another town to an international cash machine) we had our laundry done, we booked cable car and ski lift and butterfly farm tickets all via the owners - they were great! Breakfast was lovely, we ate it peacefully in the garden saw some hummingbirds

The location is closed to city center, only 5 min walk, the staffs are helpful, the rooms are clean.

The room and the adjacent bathroom are very beautiful, set in a quiet garden scenario. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I had asked for a room with a desk or table as it was shown in the pictures. However, that particular room was occupied ... fortunately, I was brought a large table which I could use for my 2 night stay for my laptop.

The hotel has a lovely garden where you can see birds, orchids and we saw an agouti! The rooms are clean, the shower has hot water and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here 3 times now and I will stay here again.
