“Great location, great hosts and a definite must stay,”

Great location away from town in a very quiet tranquil location on a working avocado farm. Our independent room had a unique separate private bathroom which with a tree in it and had the feel of an outdoor shower as it had views over the valley. The balcony had a view over the farm with beautiful Keel billed toucans nesting about 5 m away.. Central Minca is about a 10 min walk to town with some wonderful restaurants. There is easy access ( 10 min hike ) to secluded river beaches and a jungle spa which offered great massages. The dedicated apartment kitchen was very convenient and we used it to cook breakfasts and the occasional meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts

“Perfect getaway close to nature, peaceful and quiet”

This small cabin in the woods is the perfect getaway for a vacation close to nature. It’s surrounded by mountains and trees. It truly is so peaceful and quiet, which can be hard to find in Columbia. Beautiful scenery. It’s got everything you need. The host is really nice and friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the place.

“A peaceful break”

The location was perfect - walkable from the town and with a beautiful view from the balcony. The space was so peaceful. We looked forward to getting up early each morning for toucan spotting! Thank you Mary and Fer.

Fernando and Maria are part of the experience - they are so warm and welcoming! Place itself adorable - you have your private terrace with separate entrances to bedroom and bathroom, and also a private well equipped kitchen with entrance around the corner, so even spaces have separate entrances you will be the only one using them. Terrace has a beautiful view and you can spot multiple birds. Location is a 15min walk a lit path to the center, so close enough to walk, but away from all the noise.

“Simple charm in the jungle”

The Little house in the middle of the jungel. Very charming. And our host Maria is a beautiful person. Birds, tucans and colibri from the terrasse. And paths from the house directly to the jungel. 10 minutts walk from the Little center of Minca. Try restaurant Minca del Sol 15 min walks (from path take steps down from Jungel Joe), simple, lot of ambience.

“Great tranquil place amongst birds and forest”

Tranquility, no music but loads of birds and insects. We loved the toucans nesting in the tree right in front of the terrace. The owners are super friendly and responsive.

The place and the view is fabulous and the family who owns this place were more than kind and helpful. They helped me to organise a safe taxi to Minca and then back to airport when I left. I would recommend this higly for everyone and expesially if you don't know much about Colombia! When the sun rises/sets you can see the tucans flying to the trees in front of the balcony. Spectacular.
