“What a horrible experience.”
The location was fine but the property looked abandoned. The five house cats stunk up the house or maybe the landlord had not been around to clean out thier litter box for some time. Maybe I caught him on a bad day but it was by far the dirtiest stinky place I stayed in any country ever.

“It was awful. They are scammers.”
I checked in and paid cash in full. When they gave me the room, the air conditioner was broken. The room was uninhabitably hot. I waited 5 hours in the lobby for them to fix it, and it still wasn't fixed. When it got dark, I told them I needed a place to stay. They did not offer any alternatives. I was forced to find another place at the last minute. The staff (Hector and Barry) took my contact info and said they would provide a refund, as they failed to provide services as advertised. There has been no response from them despite multiple emails, and no refund. This place is a scam.

“Nice owner and location in Minca.”
The location of this hostel is great - about 3 minutes walking from where you get the bus to and from Santa Marta. And a 5 minute walk to the street where you'll find most restaurants. It's not noisy a night because you're just far enough away from the busy street. The hostel owner was very friendly - he gave us a great recommendation for veggie food the night of our arrival and let us leave our bags in the room after checkout so we could walk around town. We had a private double room which was a good size. The bathroom was clean - cold water shower but we didn't mind at all. There's also very cute kittens there right now. which we loved!

Seemed I by mistake booked a room without air condition... The room heated up soooo bad during the day, wasn't possible to stick around in there.. Night was fine.

The place is super clean and modern, but at the same time very stylish and functional. The hosts are super nice and welcoming, definitely a unique experience in minca that will make you feel at home.

The hostel is super clean and modern but also cozy. It is well situated, as it is just a 5-10 min walk to the center of Minca where you can find all the nice restaurants and tourist offices (birdwatching, etc.) and the street is very quiet and peaceful. Also the staff is super friendly and speaks English fluently. We really loved staying here and didn't wanna leave. :)
