The room and bed were comfy Japanese style - sliding panels in a beautiful space and a futon on the floor. The showers and toilets were in portacabins outside, but fine. There are laundry facilities. It was nice and quiet overnight. The company grows and sells salted plums. They gave me a sample, which was very tasty - better than those I've had from the supermarkets!

It's really good value for money. It feels like you're literally just staying in someone's house. The men sleep downstairs and the women upstairs, and there's one extra private room for anyone travelling in pairs. The futons are thicker than usual so they're comfortable. The owner leaves an umeboshi from his plum grove for you, and it's the most delicious one I've ever had!

Amazing hospitality and kindness. The guest house is really quiet and plums and kumquats are great!
