Loved the quirkiness of the hotel, walks along the river to the beaches and sea. Close to cafes and restaraunts... although don't miss the opportunity to eat at the Japanese restaraunt within the hotel. Superb food and very reasonable. Positioned perfectly, loved it.... not just for young surf dudes, we're well into our 60's.

A good walk to town for exercise before or after dinner. The restaurant on site was recommended but closed on the night we stayed. Bed comfortable. Breakfast set us up for a day of riding so must have been OK. Secure bike parking inside the building.

“Surfer dude vibe - good for a short stay”
Good location . Parking easy. Owner very helpful - dried some of our clothes for us ( we had used the local launderette). Knowledgeable about the area with suggestions for places to eat. Offering a Japanese cook on some evenings. Funky beach bum vibe to decor - very interesting.

“A lovely hotel, lovely welcome slightly marred by the staff member in the morning.”
A charming welcome from an English speaking young lady. Very helpful and informative, and she had sent an SMS earlier with full instructions about how to access the hotel in the event of her being late, which she wasn’t. The room was comfortable (despite some bathroom issues) and the view from the balcony was lovely.

A basic type of dormitory accommodation, 2 bunk beds to the room. Clean, adequate bathroom. Good location to main area of town (20 minutes walk). Friendly staff.
