“Exceptional property, memorable stay”

This was easily one of the best places we have stayed in. The place had a charm about it, which was not surprising considering its history - and all the expectations were more than met. The room was amazing and very tastefully maintained. The location bang in the town centre was super convenient. The breakfast was outstanding and the personal touch by the staff was a welcome surprise.

It's a very historic hotel; it feels like you're traveling back in time when you're inside. It's very well located, even though the city is very small. The breakfast is simple but good — it's not an "all you can eat" style, but what they serve is enough. Highlight: Alberto and his wife. They are very friendly, very polite, and very helpful! Tip: Have lunch or dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was one of the best meals we had on the trip. Alberto helped us get a last-minute table.

An absolute gem of a place. Large comfortable, extremely well decorated room. Located in the centre of a fantastic old village- but the room was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent staff.

We loved this hotel and it's fascinating history. We had a gorgeous room, much bigger than we expected, with a majestic bed and a separate sitting area. You feel like you have traveled back in time and, like the previous guests, you feel like royalty when you stay here!

“Historical building, totally different”

If you don’t need a modern hotel with all mod cons then this is the hotel for you. Period design and furniture makes a different experience. Very clean, comfortable but without TV etc.

“Beautiful hotel in beautiful town.”

Beautiful ancient hotel with great location. Although it's located right in main walking street, it's very quiet at night. We stayed on third floor and the room was big and beautiful decorated. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was included in the price, it's simple but good, served at the table. We sat at the corner and it's very cosy. Check in, check out was fast and easy. There is a lift so it's convenient for guest who has heavy suitcase.

Old world atmosphere. Accommodation could have been taken directly out of a story from the brothers Grimm. Something one should experience before it disappears.

Really great castle like room

Historical hotel in very centre of the village. Staff super friendly! Good breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms. It was not just a stay, it was super interesting experience! Felt like a part of history! Strongly recommend :)

What a place of history... you feel yourselves as a king! Breakfast is wonderful! Definitely a place to come back...!
