The best thing was the view from the terrace but we liked everything! Spacious rooms and well-equipped kitchen. We travelled with a 1-year old and the host was very accommodating providing both crib and high-chair. The pictures provided at booking do not do the place justice.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, amazing location with view from large terrace. Really well equipped, enjoyed cooking a meal and having all we needed. Lovely welcome from very kind host, Alfio, who thoroughly spoilt us with delicious fruit and food in overflowing welcome basket. The most amazing linen sheets and comfy pillows/mattress made me very happy! Would love to stay for longer, as would be very easy to unwind and relax here.

“A charming house in a delightful village on the slopes of Mt Etna”

A gem of a place in a charming village on the slopes of Mount Etna, near Catania. The views are spectacular, the rooms are large and beautifully maintained, and there is all you need in terms of kitchen equipment, outdoor chairs and tables, hot water, and wifi. The host met us and gave us a tour of the house and the old wooden wine press. The local village is a 15-minute walk away along the country road and has a delicious cafe bakery and community supermarket to buy all you need. We would love to have stayed a week or two.

Impressive decent decoration. Quiet, excellent location for enjoying sunrise. Everything is ready for cooking (even fresh garlic and chilli sits in the kitchen) and washing. Host prepares a full basket of local fruits 🥳 for our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality 🫶🏻

“Relaxing stay in a beautiful surrounding with a lot of privacy.”

We were welcomed by the friendly owner who showed us his beautiful home with pride. And it was lovely, with a stunning view on all sites. Breakfast in the sun with a view over the wineyard towards the sea, lovely restaurant on walking distance, a friendly village (with lovely icecreams). We walked (20 minutes drive to Mount Sartorius, family friendly vulcano area), forest is accessible from many points on the road), visited the Etna and enjoyed playing games on the terrace in the sun with a glas of wine :-). The place was clean, everything you need is expect is available and way more (our kids loved the cookies and little chocolates).

“Una destinazione meravigliosa!”

It was great, +10 for everything. I was searching for such landscapes for a long time. The cantina di vino (it's like a wine cellar) is a superb museum, the vineyard is great, and the wine is delicious. Thank you for everything! Surely we will return.

“Paradiso Milo”

We would highly recommend the Villa Etna Massi, we had a very pleasant stay there in October. The villa has a beautiful situation with views to the sea on one side and Mount Etna to the other. The villa is well equipped and also very quiet and peaceful. The nearby village of Milo is also of interest with wine bars and cafes and every single person we met there was kind and helpful. Finally we must also thank our charming host Alfio who was a very good friend to us and always available to help us. We wish him well for the future and we are grateful to him for a wonderful stay. “Alfio, What a host”

what a place !! high up on etna with a views down out accross the sea. Quiet with the vine yard in front of you. you can walk into the town for meals and a drink. all the locals very friendly. Our host , what a star !! we had problem's with our car and he just organized everything . Picked me up droped me off, all fixed. He couldn`t be more helpful. Sicily what an amazing place. we were there for 9 days and only scratched the surface.

“A perfect stop while exploring Etna wine routes”

The view was absolutely fabulous, the kitchen well equipped and sitting outside with a glass of wine and some tapas was an unforgettable experience. Chirping birds, surrounded by nature and lovely open spaces.

The place is even better than in the photos. Pristinely clean, with white sheets, towels. Kitchen fully equipped. AC working. The house is decorated with detailed attention to aestethics. Small things that make you smile everytime you see them. The surroundings is well maintained: the garden, patio, mini-musum. The hosts are super friendly, made us a warm welcome with delicious treats. The location is far from the touristic crowds (a big plus for us), with lovely views of Etna from one side, and the sea from the other. Highly recommended. We will definitely visit again if we have a chance.

Alfi is a very friendly and helpful host, he give us aa big bow filled l with fresh fruit and other welcome surprises, the house is very well equipped , in the kitchen you find everything and thd beds are ver,y comfortable , the location is extraordinary between wine yards , the best thing is to sit on terrace with a glas of wine in the smooth air of a summer night and great view over the hillside of Etna to sea . We recommend this location 100% !

“fantastic views and spacious house for a getaway from the busy cities”

fantastic view of sicily's coast below, wonderful garden with wine stock, spacious rooms and garden, well equipped kitchen, private parking, wonderful host (had a fridge full if fruits, juices, even got a gift of tylical sicilian cookies during my stay of 3 nights!), the attached old wine building can be used for group diners. quiet and relaxing away from cadania or taormina stress, easy and near access to etna.

Alfio and his wife have built a unique and sensational place where to stay at feels like the greatest gift. Their attention to detail, the love they invest every day again makes it one of the top places I stayed at in more than 50 years. I definitely need to come back and stay longer!
