The property is located in an interesting historic building with a neat vibe. Location is near Zara metro station so we could get anywhere easily. Breakfast (coffee and croissant) was included as coupons to a nearby chic cafe.

Honestly, one of the best places I stayed in Italy. The location’s great (near metro station Zara), the apartment has everything you need and more. Besides the hotel, this was e.g. the first place that had bathrobes for the guests :) The small downsides are a very narrow gallery leading to the apartment and that the apartment gets quite hot quickly. But there is AC to combat that :) And the hostess, Isabella, is a really amazing person. Genuinely nice, helps as much as she can, responsive.

I had a truly wonderful stay in this cozy and welcoming La Casa sul Ballatoio. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The space is thoughtfully decorated, exuding a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The kitchen is impressively well-equipped, making it a joy to prepare meals, whether a quick breakfast or a full dinner. One of the highlights of my stay was the peacefulness of the surroundings—despite being in Milan, the flat is tucked away in a quiet area, allowing for restful nights. And I cannot say enough about Isabella, the hostess. She is an absolute gem—kind, attentive, and always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Her hospitality made all the difference, and I truly appreciated her thoughtful touches. The only thing to keep in mind is that the flat is part of a beautiful “old Milan” style building, which, while full of charm and character, can feel a bit cold at times. However, this is a small trade-off for such an authentic and cozy Milanese experience. Overall, I highly recommend this flat for anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-cared-for place to stay in Milan. Isabella’s kindness and attention to detail truly make it special!

The location was excellent. A short walk to the Metro and a further short trip into the centre of Milan. Good restaurants around nearby for food in the evenings. Kind host. Wi Fi was excellent. It is called the house of the balconies does not have one which did not bother us.

Isabella is the best host. The apartment had everything we needed, it was very clean and comfortable and Isola is the nicest neighborhood. Isabella was extremely nice with us and if we go back to Milan, we won't doubt on booking this place again.

The apartment is close to the center. It is also close to a metro, train and tram stop. It is close to a wonderful breakfast place. Cozy, clean, with everything you need.
