The best part is how close it was to where I needed to go, a 5 minute walk. Key pickup was clear. I never got to meet the owner but the responses to messages came quickly and it was always friendly even before I booked, that matters to me a lot and I appreciate it. The bed was comfortable and the linens seemed fresh. The kitchen has almost everything you'd need. I like that no pets are allowed, for my allergies. I got it on offer for 65 euros per night, that was ok, the original price of 80 wouldn't have been. If you're going to Mikkeli in winter for a quick visit and need a place for one person walking distance from the train station, the centre, the university, then I would recommend it.

The apartment is comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay and with a place nearby to watch ice hockey. The hostess was kind and attentive.

The apartment is just perfect. It's near the town centre, very peaceful and equipped with everything you may need.
