Overview
Surrounded by the pine woodlands of the Latvian Ventspils region, Miķeļbāka offers quiet accommodation of various type 100 metres from the sea. The camping site also features free Wi-Fi. Rooms are simply furnished and feature wooden décor. Each house comes with a fridge, table with chairs, as well as one double bed and one bunk bed. Shared showers and toilets are located in the main building, next to the bungalows. The on-site restaurant is open in the summer season. Miķeļbāka camping site features a playground for children. Barbeque facilities can be arranged at an extra charge.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts went extra mile to feed us with late dinner & with early breakfast which was extremely wonderful :) and they are very nice, friendly and welcoming :) The facilities are comfy & you have all you might need :) we already stayed here once some 4 - 5 years ago camping with tent, now we enjoyed the camping house & we loved it :) And we will sure come back again one day :)

Location was good, beach was nearby and very nice. Toilets and showers were nice and clean as well.

“We had an amazing stay but there is few things keep considering”
Our group of 4 friends were fascinated by the place of our stay, we could easily reach the sea within 3min walk. Also, it was super peaceful and we had such an amazing stay, relaxed and experienced close contact with nature!!! Recommend for those who look for something simple, with little access to the internet, but at the same time relaxing holidays in the nature with friend group.

the landlord is uncomplicated and really helpful. There were no problems by check-in and check-out. They are very flexible. the shared sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly. the water on site is drinkable, even if it has a strong aftertaste (I only drank it boiled) we loved it.
